We were created many many years ago by an alien civilization. We know them as the grays. Short little gray guys with big eyes & a slit for a mouth. They have master knowledge of most the universe. So they found our solar system & landed on the most inhabitale planet in it which was earth. They saw the apes as most suitable. So they mixed they're DNA with Ape's DNA & the outcome was Humans. So we are kinda like an experiment. The place where Humans were first made is a wooded plateau in Africa.

Gray's are analogues of Penfield Homunculus... as such "Gray" is a reference to "Gray Matter"

Men in black for that matter are analogues to this man.

As for the topic in this thread all I will say is:

Grand National - talk amongst yourselves

seriously though, there's no reason for out existence
we're here, and thats all there is to it.

do whatever the you want, especially if you can reverse some of your evolutionary programming (or in other words, stop procreating ffs)

i'd be delighted to get atleast one none-selfish reason to contuine procreation

I have thought of this for some while, and i've come to realise that life is not permanent. No matter what we do, humans will all die one day, and i'm talking about the whole race. The sun is going to burn out or the polution is going to destroy the earth, it doesn't even matter. The only way to survive is to move to space. What i'm talking about is a degree of evolution. Evolution is adaptation to new enviroments and conditions. An individual can during a life time contribute to the society and evolve the world, which is kind of obvious, but in the long run i don't think any of it is relevant, since what good is evolution if it doesn't have a meaning or a goal it is trying to reach. Evolution itself can't be the meaning of life, since it is just a way of getting there. The question must be, why are we evolving? I can't find another rational explanation that it is all about the individual. I think we just happen to exist, and while we do, we should take everythign out of life. I don't think anything will is significant in the end. Not evolution, nothing. It's all about experiencing as many new things you can in life and enjoying them.

Methinks; When humans can clone humans, that means we understand our own evolution and we no longer need to evlove.

the meaning of life is to live, therefor evolution is the meaning of life

If we do not live for this, then why do we exist

I dunno about that, it's like saying if I cut and paste someone elses program I can program.

Yes, i don't know where that last thing came from. I only ment that when we can clone ourselves, we understand our own evolution. I cant really remember how came to that conlclusion i few year ago, but it makes sense. We do evolve constantly however, its just a fact of life. (mehtinks again)

what you mean why not?? there are many reasons why not

if i had the choice to be born or not knowing what the world has to offer then in no way would i agree to live, this world is ed up.

the question why we are here is a really important question that cannot be answered. but to say why not is finding the easy way out.
