If any of you whiteys are daring yourself to try some reds, but need a good transition, let me recommend the BV Pinot Noir or Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2003.
Very flavorful, very mild...right around $20. |

I 'm a huge fan of red wine, but recently back in India I had the chance to have some amazing white wine.
It was a Bordeaux, Sauvignon Blanc - 2000, a French wine that I'd never seen around here.
Amazing.
Other than that. I always enjoy the Australian reds. Wyndham Shiraz Bin 555. Always a good bet.
I remember going by a really good vintage wine store near the Manulife Centre. It was in the sub levels. That place had an amazing collection |

so strong, it tastes like a disinfectant
the best red wine I have ever had was that made by my great grand father in his bodega
white wine I like it sweet or as spritzer |

Oh , Slivo. That is good to get you really drunk real quick. Also good stuff to fire up your campfire with. :P One sip of it and I swore off I'll never drink it again. (Too bad you need to drink it if you ever want to have a talk with someone in Bosnia)
I'm very partial to chardonnay from South Africa. I love cabernet and cabernet sauvignon, but too often I find bottles that are too... oakey to my taste. |

for inexpensive wine ($15) the Cave Springs Merlot and Pinot Noir is very good.
a little pricier (around $45)
is this pinot noir:

i love reds.. but i like whites as well.. i'm doing a 30 day detox of processed foods, alcohol caffeine etc.. and i'm going to miss coffee and wine more than anything! |
