Some of the best wine I've ever tasted in my life as come from the Inniskillin Wineries.. I haven't really had any recently, as that's something I don't drink solo. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for someone to crack that 2000 Riesling with.

As for other reds, my favorite is Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Villages 2001. I haven't been able to find it in forever.

We sell that at my work :)

My favourite white right now is New Zealands Oyster Bay Chardonnay, 2003...very fruity, crisp, really nice and refreshing....

unfortunately, the wines im addicted to are too high end for the LCBO... my father is a collector... so callie and i have access to a VERY VERY EXPENSIVE collection. but so far my favourites recently have been the 1998 Silverado Creek Cabernet Merlot (aprrox $120), 1996 Masi Valpolicella ($50), 1997 Rosemont Estates Merlot ($40) and my all time favourite wine is the 1992 Silverado Creek Merlot ($180)

Yellow Tail 2004 (SHIRAZ) its about 12 bucks is really really good and not too expensive. I bought 4 bottles 2 weeks ago to keep but couldnt keep my hands off them and they were gone very soon!

& Casa Silva and any Wolf Blass is good...

I am not a big fan of Merlot anymore but there is some good Autrailian stuff at LCBO.

I love that yellow label australian shiraz. Gets you well loaded! :stongue:

Inniskillin has an impeccable Riesling, but by far my fav Riesling has to be the Strewn. I can't even describe it, it is just perfect for any light meal, seafood, chicken, or appetizers.

Currently my favorite wine is a Chilean wine, so much flavor in South American wines. The Caliterra Sauvignon Blanc. SUCH A GOOD WINE, and it only costs 8.40 at the LCBO. A must try!

Nice choices, oh for Daddy's wine collection. Don't worry I'm not flaming when I want the good stuff that's where I go :)
