Same case with me. Im not going through my own ins company because it's not my fault. They are taking full responsibility for the accident but they are trying to screw me over. Maybe they didn't take your car and title because it wasn't worth fixing and selling your car (not saying it was a piece of but it was only worth two grand.) My car on the other hand is worth a bit more and other than this accident bull ....it's pretty much in next to mint condition. The pain is in great shape, the interior is perfect and it runs great. So to them it's worth taking my car and fixing it and selling it. |

Yes IT WAS a piece of but that piece of paid for itself and then some after that accident so I cant complain much. U are prob right though, if your car has more value I could def see why they would want to take it. |

So Brianna and myself looked up about four different prive values on my car and faxed them over to the insurance company and told them Im not accepting anything under $4,500 because that was the average value of my car. I guess we will wait to hear from them. If they don't work with me Im going to get the car assessed by a friend that does this for a living and then contact a lawyer.

i checked my voicemail today and guess what...
that guy had called me.
he said he lost his phone at school and my # was in it, so that's why he didnt contact me in the last 2 days. but now he is ready to pay.
so we are playing phone tag now, but at least he's making SOME effort. |
