It's sad all this but i agree with some that their productions of late lacks quality. Their only good tracks they made under their Dumonde guise is Tomorrow and See the light the rest suck. They are not the only victims either, there are surely more to come.

im a great fan of the uplifting hardtrance scene , and dumonde particularly as a great contribution to the scene.
im very sad of their decision but im kind of understand it.
:sadgreen: :sadgreen:

i will never forget them! :(

and I can't believe nobody has mentioned:

Rank 1 - Symsonic (Dumonde remix) :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:   :eyespop:

I remember the party in Toronto with Marc Aurel and Mobius etc, and these board were absolutely flooded!

I remember that night, that was a killer party. Dumonde really do deliver when it comes to livesets, I've seen them twice and both times they destroyed the floor.

I can't say that I'm too sad that they stopped producing, since I haven't heard anything from them in the past 2 years that I liked, but I'm definitely sad to hear that they will shorten their touring days :(

yeah..i agree that they haven't been producing the best of tracks lately...though the dumonde remix of symsonic was personally the last track that i felt was worth a mention...

Indeed their remix of Sumsonic was their latest greatest remix but don't forget that it was made in 2002,although it was released in 2003.Dumonde have lost their way sadly. Most of their productions (post 2003) were cheesy with their usual bassline and NOWHERE,i mean NOWHERE as good as Memory, their remix of Ayumi Hamasaki - Trauma or their remix of Symsonic. It's a sad thing really, but not as sad as the loss of Airbase (who made great tunes even in 2005).

I get annoyed, all the artists I like (or in this case used to like) leave the scene (Ralphie B, Flutlicht, Airbase, old Dumonde), and all the people I couldn't care less about stay (Tiesto, PvD, Push). :(

dumonde are incredible.

and for the people that say "What happened to doing it because you like it or for the fans?"...well ur just wankers and completely disregarding the fact these people have to make a living, earn an income.

Times change...its naive to think that a person will make a song knowing it will make no money just so fans can enjoy it.

Hahaha :stongue: Owned!
