Wow. That was over the top. He's probably still going- I had to leave to get back to santa cruz.
Mezzanine is an AWESOME venue. I don't care about lights and crap- plent of room and what a great crowd! Couple of upstairs lounges to chill- Suweet.
Shook hands with Dave- hey this was a great event. Try to get more of the good stuff here. Looked around for the others but alas no luck.
We might need to make some TA paraphenalia.

Wow, that was an amazing night. Markus tore the Mezzanine up track after track! And what a great guy too... I had a blast, it was a pleasure hanging out with DaveT and the whole Spundae/Ruby Skye crew backstage. What a treat! It goes without saying, Spundae parties are where it's at!
a little souveneir from the night - mint album!

Just got back home from SF and Markus did an incredible job and his set totally wore me out...plus I got to meet a couple TAs and best of all DaveT asked Markus if I could come up stage to get a picture and he said hell yeah, thanks again DaveT!!!

Just got back home. OHHHHH MAAAANNNN What a night! Great friggin' set from the Schulz. I was very impressed. I almost didn't make it tonight either. It was really busy at work and I thought my supervisor was gonna keep me til 11:30, but she took pity on me and let me go at 10:30. I immediately dashed in my car, club attire already on, and headed out to SF. I got inside the Mezzanine at 12:30 and the club was already crackin'. I was already tired both from working and the drive over, but once Markus played Pharmacy of Sound-Searching for Substance, I started dancing my butt off. And then I spotted DaveT and started talking to him, and he of course then let me in to the back of the DJ booth where I got to take pics with the Schulz and dance my ass off even more. Being behind the booth is so siiiick. That alone made the drive well worth it. And those cdj's decks look really good too.
I didn't leave the club til Markus' set was over, and I was really surprised to see it go on til about 3:45. Always a plus to see the headliner go over their scheduled length. Songs I were able to ID for the night were Pharmacy of Sound-Searching for Substance, Above & Beyond-No One on Earth (G&D remix) (that song gave me flashbacks from Skills presents Love, Darren Tate had spun that track also), David West-Carrier, Ozgur Can-Connected (Santiago Nino Remix), Mike Foyle-Space Guitar, Markus Schulz f. Anita Kelsey-First Time, and Niklas Harding presents Arcane-Ice Beach (OMG that was so good hearing that tune on that system!) It was also great meeting more fellow tranceaddicts. It really helped for me to wear those candy bracelets, otherwise I wouldn't have met any of them, lol. Shot outs to Sweetcandygirl, neinerlove, (hope to come down to socal someday and party with you gals again), ninetyninej, and lex400sc. And much thanks to DaveT for hookin' it up with the DJ booth and maintaining order back there. It did get a little crazy at times. Anyway keep it up with the parties Spundae and Markus come back to SF soon!
PS, I will have the pics I took and a few vids uploaded soon!
I must sleep now. *DIES*

I didn't see, you Zharen! :whip: :whip:
Maybe because I didn't realize you went up behind the booth. Its cool though, had a blast anyway! Seems like you did too. :) Shook hands with Dave, though he probably doesn't know it (he looked busy, I didn't wanna take up more than a few seconds of his time). Heard some other people shouting "Way to go Dave!" when he would kick people off the stage.. no idea if they were TAs or other friends or what.
I wanted to say hi to Michelle but I didn't want to bug the people behind the booth (how do you, anyway? :p ) AH well perhaps next time when people are actually on the dance floor.
And the music.. Good god, the music. Phenomenal.
Of course I have one request. What was the song he opened with?? It sounded Coldharbour'ish and was sooo mellow and wonderful. :)

Markus teh r0xx0r3d San Francisco
Yep he did. So much so, I'm too tired to really talk about still.
Got to hang / make sure Markus was taken care of once he got to the club back in the green room (must says the Mezz's new green rooms are nice!) and chatted with him for a good while. Markus is so awesome. So down to earth. He loves to talk about his family, which is awesome as well. Just my girlfriend and I talking with him for awhile until SweetCandyGirl and her friend came in and then I was just like, "OK, time to go smoke!" lol. I came back and Michelle (my girlfriend), Michelle (SCG), and her friend were talking about weather...I didn't miss much, lol.
Place filled up nicely between 11:40 and midnight.
TUNE OF THE NIGHT!!!
Nalin And Kane - Open Your Eyes
Came out of left field. Was NOICE to hear that classic. :)
OK, his set was like one massive 3 1/2 hour tune, but who cares. Nice crowd came out (something I always worry about with the Mezzanine, but was NICE to see the crowd that showed up because each and every one showed up for Markus and not for the club...not that type of place).
Here's some pics for nizzzooowww....
You can seez all muh peeektuuurress here
