this thread got really interesting.
i'm still curious about a couple things, for you virgins who are waiting until marriage... don't you fear that once you have sex with someone, you'll want to experience it more times with more partners? people love variety and they love to experience new and exciting things. it's a natural impulse for humans to want & crave sex, and there's nothing wrong with that. i mean, no one would want to eat hamburgers every day for the rest of their life, no matter how you spice them up with cheese or bacon or mustard, it's still the same hamburger you're gonna eat for the rest of your life.
i'm not saying that it's impossible. imo, you have to be a very strong-willed person to stay with one person sexually for the rest of your life. |

Myra, I think that your argument is valid. Yes they will likely want to have sex with more people then just their chosen mate, however, that applies to everyone at some point regardless of their past sexual experience. |

true, but i think it would apply moreso for someone who waits longer to have sex, and is having sex for the first time with someone they plan on marrying.
i mean, i'm 21 and im pretty content with the idea that if i marry my current boyfriend he will be the last man i have sex with for the rest of my life. i feel like ive experienced enough already. |

Perhaps, however, you must remember that those who elect to save themselves for marriage usually due so due to some religious or moral belief. In most instances, these religious/moral beliefs are will also include the belief that it is either immoral or a sin to engage in an extra marital affair. Thus, while the temptation may be stronger it is also likely that the resolve not to stray outside the marriage will be stronger. I don't think it would be possible to show any corrolation between pre-marital sexual experience and post marital infidelity. |

I plan on getting together with someone who wants to have sex hanging from our feet from the ceiling kind of person. Willing to try everything at least 3 times you know what I mean :D
Infinite variety within a relationship isnt an impossible concept to me.
And im not waiting for marriage at all. Just someone who I can see many years of being with :)
that also includes waiting a few months and intense hanging out to see if that would work. |
