I must say... I'm not really a fan of any of your tracks, Wim. They all have top-notch production value, but lack any sense of originality. They're all completely stereotypical trance with mediocre melodies.
If you tried to implement some of your own ideas into the productions, or attempted to develop your own original sound, I bet you could really make something great.
Don't get me wrong... none of my tracks where Tune of the Week on ASOT... but I feel that once you get past the production quality, your tracks have nothing going for them.
A good analogy... If I where to listen to one of your tracks in a set, your track would not stand out at all because they all have a minimal amount of defining characteristics. |
