Since when are you a positive person?.... Just envision yourself having a good day and everything will be rosey and beautiful..... BULL!

If your day sucks throw back a handful pills. Humans no longer have to suffer from any psychological problem or even an annoyance..... BETTER LIVING THROUGH DRUGS!

haha whatever i am totally an optimist! everyone i know jokes about me being "ms. motivation". especially when i'm on drugs. hahah everyone would get all irritated by a mission (to get more) and i am always the one like, "ok everyone CHOP CHOP! we can do it, let's go bla bla bla" :D

mind over matter, moral...mind over matter. it's the damn truth. only weakminded people have trouble with that concept.

Okay, I do believe that you can influance your mood, feeling, even physical condition via thought, however, there are some limitations. The theory of mind over matter extapolated to it's ultimate conclusion would state that you can cure spinabifida through positive thinking.... that is simply not true.

i dunno about spinabifida, but i've seen documented incidents where people got rid of their cancer through the power of the mind...no kemo or anything...

Or maybe the tumor just died. I doubt that a corolation between the thoughts of the patient and the remission or elimination of the cancer can be proven. That isn't to dismiss the benefits of positive thought, however, it is like chronic pain syndrom... it cannot be proven or disproven.

see it's that negative train of thought right there that gets you no where. c'mon moral...the glass is half full. the glass is half full.

actually when i was peeing the other night, i looked at my favorite perfume bottle on the bathroom counter and it was more than half way empty, but i realized at that moment that i am truely an optimist, because instead of thinking, "aww man it's almost empty, i gotta go buy another bottle" my thought process was like, "hmm, i'm still pretty good with that, i don't have to get any more yet"
UWM
oooh you thought of that while you were peeing?

that's hot.

Truth is I am an optomist, however, I am also a skeptic. Being an insurance adjuster my job is all about proof. If you cannot prove it then it does not exist, or at the very best it isn't material. Because mind over matter cannot be proven then it either doesn't exist or it is inmaterial/irrelevent/unimportant. I can't help but think this way, it's engrained into me.

your posts have been making a lot of sense to me lately. i am in a crappy mood too, but for a different reason. so i took a vit b supplement this morning and now i am going to go work really hard, and hopefully my mind will clear up.

kferns, if the girl trusts you, she'll get over it. and if not, you can always find a new girl. take everything as a learning experience.

Hey Kfergs. Maybe it is the weather? It's been very rainy here. I love that type of weather, but I've had a friend who's had seasonal depression disorder. (Always thought he was pulling my leg) If he didn't receive a certain amount of sunlight, he would always be gloomy.

Anyways, I always listen to some good oldies and dance. Here's a good one: Chuck Berry - You Never Can Tell. It's even better when your naked. Orrr... Just yesterday, I received a call from an ex-employee who I was pretty close with. Nothing brightens your day better than receiving a call from someone you've not heard from in a long time. You get to share your stories, laugh and reminisce. Go out w/ friends and create some chaos, steal some lawn gnomes.

Laugh, laugh, laugh. That's what gets me through, never fails. Good luck!! :D
