I don't really have any background knowledge of that stuff, so I can't comment on it's foundations nor can I really comment on any of the results. I just know from my life experiences that of all the people who I've met who believe in those sort of things, almost 100% of them are people I would classify as 'Hippy' :p |
Every heritage has come up with it in the first place. Many countries are still using natural herbs and medicines these days. It just turned into a known fad now. Holistic healers go way back in the days, like medicine doctors and such. We have just lost touch with the idea for a while.
Last week I had a splitting headache at work. When I got home I sprinkled some peppermint leave into a hot bath and soaked, about 15min later my headache was gone. It think its better than swallowing a bunch of pills. But then again I guess pills can be fun too. lolol
Then a couple days ago, I had this horrible pulled muscle in my neck. I took some camphor and eucalyptus essential oil and rubbed it into the muscle and a few minutes later it was better. The same thing you would get with bengay or icy hot, except all natural. |

i am mostly talking about mental conditions...mainly moodiness and/or depression/anxiety. but i get really inspired when i see stories on discovery channel about people beating cancer through the power of the mind.
i've been through some really tough times in my life and never carried through with pills and whatnot, i would always start to take them and then be like, "man screw this i don't need a ing happy pill" and i just really motivated myself by saying positive things (i talk to myself a lot), and thinking positive thoughts no matter how ty i was feeling.
i don't have tolerance for people who like to wallow in self pitty. it annoys me. but i like to motivate people and give advice to those who are open and willing to make a change or hear some constructive criticism. i could always use some myself and welcome it. i am excellent at making people smile and feel better once they've griped to me. you have to learn how to put in perspective and quit making all your dumb little problems seem like a major crisis... we're such small little insignificant things in this world...i'm sorry if i don't have time to hold grudges for dumb and bitch about not losing weight/getting in shape as i sit on the couch and eat cookies. im not saying i don't sit on the couch and eat cookies, but i certainly won't be wondering why i'm not in shape. lol
it's like when i was doing yay every weekend i would get all thin and upset, but i finally said, "well jamie if you want to look and feel your best and take your life to that next step, u know what u need to do" and i'm doing it now:D
change only occurs when you make changes in yourself and your way of thinking. |

Scary isn't it? I'm not sure how this happened either. I do, however, manage to put together a coherent thought every once and a while.
What's more frightenting, however, is that Sly is a champion for positive thinking.... seriously, the queen of the core bitches telling everyone to be happy.... maybe we've entered the twilight zone!:nervous: :nervous: :nervous: |

I think us crackheads are often underestimated in terms of our intelligence (they choose to themselves up, they MUST be stupid), but in fact the majority of us seem to be pretty clued up in general. :)
Viva la brains!! (even if they are slowly turning into goo :D) |

Indeed, if we could all pool our brains we could form a nice gooey puddle... , that would probably be the best drug going.... it would be like doing everything at once!
I think maybe the old MH is back! |

I find that road tends to double back on itself quite frequently.
In all honesty, good luck. |

Fine, you, I hope you fall off the wagon real hard and find yourself sucking off dirty old men in Little Haiti so you can afford your next high.
