i've listened this before, but then i really didn't put much thought into it, it was just background music.
now i'm listening to this again and i gotta say that this is really good. i didn't have my hopes up for this cd after the crap called involver, but this is something totally else. involver IMO was very boring although it had some good tracks on it, but this cd is far from boring. dunno if it has anything to do with how many tracks there were per cd. usually 18 is way too much for one cd, but in this case it's not.
the first track/intro of this cd is still incredibly ty and cheesy, thank god you can skip it! :P
the first half of this cd had too much vocals for my liking, but other than that it was pretty damn good. as it progresses it gets much much better with less vocals! i gotta say i'm positively surprized by this cd as i've never thought much of any sasha cd before this (yes i thought gu13 was pretty much crap, so kill me). anyway now i think i'm actually going to listen the next sasha mix cd as it comes out. |

I love albums like that, it takes a lot of listens and then you start hearing things you didn't at first and it gives the album a different feel. |

yeah the intro is pretty wack unfortunately. personally i also prefer the second half of the cd even though i usually listen through the entire cd. favorite track is without a doubt freeform five - electromagnetic (tiefschwarz dub). lots and lots of details, and very nice use of samples. the only track i don't like at all is holdens remix of safari, it completely destroys the flow :(

wouldn't really say it's crap X) but it isnt the one compliation beamed down from heaven to save the human race either (like most trancecrackers seem to think). a worthy member of the GU family, but not more. |
