Good game. Lots of goals. I'm now a believer of Klinsmann style German football.
OMG. Robert Huth did something good! He scored a goal! But then, Germany let in 3 goals, so yeah. I forgot who usually plays centreback for Germany, but they better be back for WC, because Mertesacker and Huth have only one thing going. They are big. But they are clumsy, lacks mobility to defend well.
I'm liking this Podolski kid. Pair him with a good big man, and German will do well. Hanke also had a good first half, but that rash challenge was bad. Asamoah would have had an ok game except he tried to defend against Borghetti (why isn't he playing in Europe?) and let in a goal. Klinsmann, listen to me. Kuranyi blows! He can't run, he doesn't have first touch, he can't head. Klinsmann basically put Germany down 2 men by putting Kuranyi in. Put in Thomas Brdaric instead. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Argentines are the dirtiest players you can watch. Sore losers going for the legs instead of the ball and diving like delicate Petunias. It's always been like that.

| WHat a game!!....4-1 to brazil....fabulous football by the samba stars...and to think they were missing quite a few first team regulars..:eyes:...even the germany game was amazing...4-3 in extra time....the mexicans got tired otherwise penalties seemed certain...good competition all around...plenty of entertainment! |
