Great crowd, awesome night! I was so tired that evening I almost didn't make it out, but I knew I would regret it and I was right :o
I took some video but damn the bass in that sound system killed my mic :toothless
The laser machine was tight, I got some pics of it, but there's nothing like in person...

Last night was so ing great!! Dance my ass off, didnt get pushed alot the crowd was actually nice this time than during AVB. LOVED the ing laser light!! When I saw it I was like WHOA!!!! I think Ruby skye should invest and get some lasers...If Ruby Skye had the same lights as 1015! Then they would be my favorite club!!! Anyways Ferry Rocked ... PUNK Whoa! I was really excited when he drop this jam, its one of those songs that people will probably will always go crazy for. Anyways who is coming to see FERRY @ Vegas? I am!!!

I caught DaveT coming down from the stage just as Ferry was doing his encore. And yes, it was Gouryella - Ligaya, my personal favorite of all time. Brought the house down.(I requested it in Ferry's website, but I doubt they even read it... I'll take it anyway I can get it)
I had a great time and Ferry came though, yet again.
G&D, anyone?

Oh yeah, with my ty $200 sony camera,too, lol.
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS DUUUUDEE, THOSE LASERS ARE ING SICKKKK!!@ I hope Ruby keeps it...at least for Trance nights. Maybe Spundae rented it. I dunno.
We will be buying a Canon Rebel Pro XT soon...I just need to take care of filing bankruptcy first :p

Swtich it off auto mode and onto programable(P). Find the right aperature and shutter speed and lock the exposure. When you have it on auto w/ flash off, it's gonna open the shutter until it gets enough light and since everything is dark and moving that means a blurry pic. |

Thought his set was awesome. Was a bit discouraged when he pulled Punk out then I saw the crowd reaction. WOWOWOWOWOW. You could hear everyone chanting the song over the song itself hardcore. What an awesome vibe that brought out (once again).
I don't think his set was quite up there with Armin's back in May, although close....but I do think the energy from the crowd was a bit higher. Got there at 11 and just had a feeling it would be a very high energy crowd. And it was!
Moment of the night: Everyone on the stage was trying to get Ferry to play Purple Haze - Adrenaline by pointing as his cook ole book of CDs everytime he turned around....he even said "NO! GET AWAY!" and slammed closed his book of CDs real hard. Was funny as hell.....when he opened his CD case back up the next track he played....Adrenaline, which made it even funnier. |
Now that I think about it, I think you're right. The strings in Ligaya's breakdown threw me off. Awesome encore though. And damn those lasers were off the hook.

Wow what a night, Ferry totally rocked that place. Infact I'm just getting up!

I use three modes on my camera.
1. Auto - you can easily tell..any camera with a bright flash involved and the background is dark. Usually when taking pics of just people.
2. Twilight- These pics tend to come out the most blurry. No flash is used in these shots. You have to hope the DJ stays dead still or he'll blur as the shutter stays open for a while...depending on how bright it is. The last pic with Ferry above (the blue one) was done with this mode, for example.
3. Twilight Portrait - Usually the money mode. Most of the kick ass shots are done using this. It uses a Slow Synchro (SL) flash. It uses uses the flash to capture what's in the foreground sharp and the shutter stays open a tad longer to capture what's in the background. Dunno exactly how it does it, but all those other shots above used this mode. |
