[Film Music] Manvel - Sing to the Dead (ft. Cécile Marpeau)

Hi guys,
I've been inspired by Hans Zimmer to make symphonic music. This is my first full composition - "Sing to the Dead". The vocals are done by Cécile Marpeau, a talented singer from France. I've been working on this for a while now so some comments and feedback would be great!

I FINALLY BOUGHT THE QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA GOLD EDITION! This means 15 gigs of orchestra sounds at my fingertips!

This is an excellent movie music kind of track, reminds me of the Gladiator. Excellent vocals, great sinister atmosphere. Really nothing to suggest here, top notch!

I did hear this song when I so Gladiator. And it is appropriate to it. It`s like I culd heard this song in that movie. Or Kingdom Of Heaven!

goosebumps are goood :). I use FL Studio as my sequencer and Edirol Orchestral with a couple soundfonts to achieve the orchestra sounds. I'll be buying the Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold Edition soon for more realistic sounds (but damn its soo expensive!).
@rayan - the vocals are done by Cecile. I've been workin with her to make this track. I do chat with andvik once in a while :P

Beautiful work man.
I especially liked the percussion and the subtle variations in the lower ends of the strings. Very impressive work. |
