I'm looking for confirmation of this because the pair of workout threads offers conflicting advice. So which builds mass quicker, HighReps/Low Weight or Low Reps/High Weight? Both seem probable.... |

Low Reps/High Weight
but everything in moderation because thats also a recipe for getting hurt. To many rush in for a quick fix. Its just like a diet, if your not prepared to make lifting a part of your daily routine you will quickly revert back to the way you were. |

1. Low Reps/High Weight = Muscular Strength
2. Medium Reps/Medium Weight = Muscular Mass and some definition and endurance
3. High Reps/Low Weight = Muscular Definition/Endurance
To gain the most mass, ideally you would probably want to rotate between 2 and 3 after a sufficient period, maybe six months to a year each depending on which one you want more of, while incorporating 1 at more regular intervals, maybe once every other week or so. If I remember right.

Sure, just remember that muscle needs 48 hours rest after a training.
That's why you should separate 1-2 muscle groups per day.

Nope.
They work and they're definately not a waste of money.

is it okay to eat tuna and sweetcorn as lunch and dinner everyday? bcuz thats what Im doing right now, I need to know if its ok or not and explain why. |
Try to have a diverse nutrition.
Btw, tuna is obviously very healthy, but it has one major drawback.
It contains relatively big ammounts of mercury so it's not advisable to eat more than one can (aroun 100 grams) per week.
Although I find that ridiculous... I eat at least 5 cans a week and I know a guy who eats 4 cans a day. :thepirate
Anyway, try to consume enough proteins during the day. 1 gram of proteins per pound of body weight should be sufficient.
Tuna, chicken breast, turkey breast, fatless cheese, meat, milk... Those are good sources of proteins.
Also, try to consume quality carbohydrates when your glycogen reserves are depleated (when you wake up and after the training).
Best source of quality carbohydrates is oak (oak flakes to be more precise).

and If you are muscly guy, could you give me some advice how to become muscly as fast as possible please? |
Sure, I have an advice.
Don't be a lazy ass and try to become fit when it's summer time, work on your body through whole year.
Your just like those girls who come into gym in may/june thinking they can achieve some major results before summer (beach and show off time). |

Been there, done that, and I'm ripped. I normally exercise x4 with a day break these days, but I'm older and have a weird old guy regimen. If you're young and pump up, you got it for life. If you don't then god help you because it takes 2-4 times longer to get your fat ass in shape.

tribu: just read the new one, the old one is 2 years old and quite a bit has been learned since then. There are many different goals. Massing while lowering fat, etc. Quickest way to gain mass is high fat, carb, protein diet and 2 hour workouts that are 3 exercises per muscle and 3x8 for each exercise. Youll get tubby, body buidlers typically drop 40lbs of pure fat at the heavy wieght division. if you wnat to say lean during your bulking youre gonna have to plan on several years of really slow growth. if you want to cut your wait down to 5-6 months, youll just have to realize youre gonna get tubby during.
mass, density, and definition are all very distinct concepts and you need to figure out which one youre going for. |

| I personally plan on getting one of those things that electrocute you and make your muscles twitch... all the muscles with none of the effort. Why doesn't everybody use them? :conf: |
