and if you are gay you probably born gay there is no choice involved.
And in your case in greece Gay people are so ing regected by the system there is no moral code about behaving in apolitically correct manner so they are put through a lot of from the very first day the set there foot on kindengarden school

which can only lead to them being regected some more
and so on.
Not all of them though,
I have talked and hanged out with gay people in the scene and they
are not monsters man , they are just different.
