Wow, what a crazy night. The night started off bad when i wore my jeans that somehow grew 3 sizes too big for me.... and i didn't have a belt to hold them up. :(
Next, I lose my car/home keys in a sea of thousands of people. So, Dj Faded (Mike), was kind enough to let me borrow his car and drive it all the way back to Torrance to pick up my spare keys from my moms house, and then drive ALL the way back to San Bernadino to get my car. I could have been home and in bed by 3:30am tops, but noooooooo!!! :sadgreen:
It's 7:45am now, and I barely got home. I guess things could have been worse. My car could have gotten towed, or even worse... stolen.... but atleast i got home in one piece.
Other than that, thank u sooooo much Michelle, Kris, Mike, the_sounds, SVGMethod, and everyone else who made me feel better and kept me thinking positively all night!! You guys are da best!!! ;)
Infected Mushrooms was suprisingly pretty damn good. Junkie XL was cool too, but nothing new. He played the same exact stuff he played the last 2 times he was @ Avalon. Crystal Method was awesome, but they were acting like drunken fools. Ferry was pretty good too, i was impressed by his set. I was expecting it to be extremly cheesy, but it wasn't bad at all. :)
Anyway, hopefully things will go alot better for me on Independance next week.
p.s., i'm not even gonna bother reading the steve lawler review thread... i don't wanna hear about how awesome he was! LOL |

lol, a steve lawler review thread hasn't even been started yet, so i might just hi-jack this one...
steve lawler was in' amazing!!! and the DJ who opened for him was good too, he kept the energy flowing and then like 20 mins before lawler gets on, the opener pumped up the energy and lawler tore it up the instant he got on. it was insane.
i don't remember most of the songs that he played, but the one song that i do remember, i was going crazy to! "Criss Source - hugs 'n kisses"
man that song sounds amazing on a giant ass system...
teh clovis - man, big thanks to you for sharing, totally made my night!
michelle (kittycrush) - it was nice to finally meet you, heres to many more great nights together...
tigo & noree - thanks for stopping by at the booth, i was entirely too tired to move, hehe, got back up later newayz and went to dance for a little bit.
bas! sorry i couldn't find you the stuff for last night, i kinda feel bad, i'll make sure to get some extra for Zabiela... |

What a night!
One of the best raves musically for a whileeee. Infected Mushroom put on a ing sick acidy set. They performed live wit vocals n piano. Just absolutely amazing.
In the house room, DJ Dan blew the crowd away with his pretty insane mixing skills and track selection. Was good to hear a classic the Zipper Track. =D
Ferry did NOT disappoint. Started off mellow, with a beautiful song (id neone?) and then dropped the beats. :eyespop: :eyespop: Ferry Corsten - Punk got the crowd goin. It was a packed room. At the end, we even got an extra song.
Awesome music, awesome people. =] |

EDC was in way chill. I was in the house tent for a majority of the night watching Dan and Glaude spin. Glaude in ripped it up, the last couple of times that I've seen him he has spun nothing but pure tech, it was nice to see him switch back to his house side. I caught Corsten's set which had some very epic tracks in it and he had me dancing hard.
Curly and electrophile - I looked all over for the Real Madrid jersey and the 805 shirt but couldn't find you guys anywhere. Hope to see you at Independance! |

| Ferrry and Infected Mushrooms fuken killed that stage. When Ferry fuken played Ron Van Den Beuken - Sunset i fuken died and he played Purple Haze - Adrenaline. Man what a night fuken missed work by 4 hours so thats not good but oh well. Not goin for PVD tho |

so my first time at edc and ihad a great time. loved junkie xl, surprisingly impressed with crystal method for the first time, and ferry....fabulous.
everything from the music to the crowd was great, until i got to my car and found NOTHING inside. stole my stereo, sub, amp, ALL my cds, makeup case, purse, my friends' keys, and even my work clothes. surprisingly i wasnt that upset considering those are all easily replacable items,(except for the makeup...still totally bummed about that) but still THAT was a total buzzkill to an otherwise perfect night. eh well, happens right? |

oh damn, that really sucks!!! i'm so sorry about that. :(
i'm so lucky no one broke into my car. it was in the parking lot, by itself, untill i finally got back with my key at 6:45am. |

Ya, they were actually my favorite pair of jeans. When I threw them on yesterday afternoon (i was in a hurry), they were kinda lose on me (either i'm losing weight or they stretched out a lot)..... but i didn't realize they were THAT big untill i actually started walking around and dancing. I literally had to hold them up with my hands all night. lol |
