Man, I wish i could have been there.

Were there any afterparties last night?
StereoPrincess
so, i had a great time at the parade and the party after.

i even ran into people from timmins (not once but twice - different people).

DJ Dan definitely surprised me. He was good. But to me it seems that one song played the whole time (I got love deep in my soul... (or something like that))

can't wait to see the pics that nat took.

WHAT AN AWESOME DAY YESTERDAY WAS!!

Met up with Magikb and Milos to catch some of the Parade at Church and Gerard.....B4K-OZ and Trickdadde soon to follow - (listened to some tripped out Jamaican lady - talking about Jamaica and the relevence of that country to the bible!! - SHE WAS TRIPPIN ME OUT! - WHACKED!!) Preppiechick and KKEFKA rounded out the final peeps to meet - then headed to the Liquor store - to make our "juice" for the street party.

Met up with Halo20, (and his lovely sister - Hilary - thanks for the VEX babe!! DELISH!) and Gamma - we got squirted and soaked while watching the parade just south of Wellesley at Yonge from the crazies on the rooftops (BRING IT ON MOFOS!! :D )

Finally co-ordinated everyone (craziness with the crowds!!) and planted our asses outside the Mighty/Dollar - Pizza Pizza location at Church and Wellesley at 5:00 PM......

Within the hour the rest of the TA's came down......Rabbitjoker, Highroller, Tatgirl, Dallastar, Musicsnob, Feems, Breakable, Stereoprincess, and over the next few hours - some late arrivals - MarkT, Cuzo, Sekoya, Girllovetvibe, Nadehzda, and 4-5 others that I am too stupid to remember their TA names........:whip:

WICKID TRANCEADDICT TURNOUT FOR SURE!!! REPRESENT!!!!

Many PRIDE nOObs in attendance but after the "fun in the sun" had yesterday - I am sure you all will be back for more next year!!!

Tons of eye-candy (guys and girls), beats and freaks!!

Party vibe was in FULL EFFECT - everyone dancing and prancing. Super friendly party crowd (for the most part - a few Primadonnas with unchecked EGO's :whip:  :haha: )

DJ TK was spinning when we got there - very nice house beats - lots of energy - good warm-up for DJ DAN.........

DJ DAN.......first half of his set was better than the latter - (sound issues too) but lots of pumpin electro/techno infused house beats.....even some tracks from the Skybar last weekend were heard....SWEET MEMORIES!!!!

Deko-Ze came on at 7:30 and the place went nuts.....MICHAEL BABB you are AWESOME!! - all decked out in his trademark - black leather chaps - arms pumping and smiling the whole time - beating us with the dirty beats that we all loved to be assaulted with!!

Jelo - rounded off the night with a hard pumping set and things shut down by 11:30.........

I got up on the scaffolding DJ/set-up and took some awesome crowd shots of the street - A SEA OF DANCING PEOPLE - 1000's STRONG. Nat and Mark - post those PICS!!! :D

The TA's were throwing it down - Myself, Highroller, Feems, Preppiechick, Sekoya, Cuzo, KKEFKA (found a PODIUM and TORE IT UP!!!! - go JAY JAY!!!)

So many fun moments - sayings and situations:

Graham - show me your balls!!!

"BRING IT UP! BRING IT UP!" - was offically altered for the day to "WHIP IT OUT! WHIP IT OUT!.....thanks Gamma and Halo20.....mint!

Stereoprincess - whipping it out!! HAHAHA!!

"UH-HUH! - That's my !!"

"YAY - FOR GAY!!"

"Show me your BOO-bies!!!" - Some were nice - mostly nasty tho.....LOL!!!

"I saw this one women with one giant enormous breat in the middle of her chest"....."really???"........"no - MOFO.....JOKES"!!! LOL!!!!!

BRING THAT BEAT BACK!!!!

"I will see YOU at 8:00 - be fresh - be clean!!"

"Hi there, can you please please please turn the music up? - Miss Richelle cannot bust it to the beats in the back if she cant feel the bass!!!"

"Do you wanna dance??? ......"Um what? No!"......."I SAID you look GAY in those PANTS!!!!" :haha:

"Is that a boy or a girl????" :nervous: :haha:

We saw:

People climbing trees - G-Monkeys!!
Trojans (not the condoms)
Comfort Zone sketchiness in BROAD DAYLIGHT - always HILARIOUS!!
Sailor Boys and Girls - HOT!
Jumping Jacks all jacked up!!
Geeks, freaks and tres chic!
Pimps and ho's
Young and old - for sale and sold
Ex's, sketches and messes......
Amazon Drag Queens....DRINK MILK!!!

We heard:

DK - Murder was the Bass
Dariush - Ira
Inaya Day - Nasty Girl
Jaydee - Plastic Dreams
Camisra - Let Me Show You
Trans X - Living on Video
Plastikman - Spastic
So Phat - Love Bizarre (remix)
Pena's Groove - Deko-ze (official PRIDE 2005 anthem)
Junior Lopez - Groove Dreams
Spektrum - Kinda New (Tiefschwarz mix)
Sultan & Tommyboy - You Make Me Feel Extacy
Felix the Housecat - Silver Screen
Saeed & Palash - Can I get a bump?
Juliet - Avalon
Eric Prydz - Woz not Woz
And many more dirty dirty beats..........

The weather was awesome and the company I was with couldn't have been better.......my first Pride spent with predominantly straights!!!

WICKED times - we ALL had WICKID times!

My voice in facked - I sound like I ate a pound of gravel.......

But I wouldn't have changed yesterday for the WORLD

Thanks for "COMING OUT" everyone and celebrating GAY PRIDE 2005

Just like the dance/club events that we attend regularly - a diverse group of people - exciting, fun, sexy, and wickid dancers - with a common thread shared of hedonistic debauchery and all about the GOODTIMES!!

One of my most memorible PRIDE's EVAH!!!!

Over and out! :D
halo20
BAHAH nat's pics are awesome
Skipper
TK also played Saeed & Palash's "can I get a bump?"
one of my fave tracks ever ever in the history of ever.
rabbitjoker
Erik Prydz - Woz not Woz
Juliet - Avalon

I don't know the name, but it's one of the last 2 or 3 tracks from Addy's Xmas2004 set (available on his website). Has a girl doing fast vocals with the end of the chorus being something along the lines of "then i'm falling down" or "then i'm coming down".

Maybe it's just me - but this song doesn't fit very well in the context with which it is played.

Tom Stephan did the same thing on NYE and I was "WTF?" just the same as yesterday.

Yes, I know the tune is recognizable, ok. Seriously though, I wouldn't throw down "Karma Chameleon" right after Low Frequencies - so I just don't get it.

(read: i'm not saying it's wrong, that the song is or that the dj is for playing it. what i am saying is that i don't get playing it and that i wouldn't play it and that is probably why i wasn't on the main stage... ;) )

I think it was Dj Dan.....and again - the flow to his set was not the best....if anyone was to play it - Deko-ze - could have gotten away with perhaps......this track very much reminds me of him and his sets at the Zone last year......and the COZO's in the crowd woulda loved it DE-KO-ZE - DE-KO-ZE!! :haha:
