Coldplay vs. Radiohead

Which band do you prefer? There have been many different comparisons between the two--- Coldplay loves Radiohead, Radiohead hates Coldplay. So, the question is: who do you prefer?
For me, I'd have to say Coldplay-- When I listen to Radiohead, I have to listen with full intentions and without distraction. Now, I'm not saying that's a bad thing- but sometimes, it gets a bit annoying. Coldplay is for the light-hearted romantic who enjoys music as it relates to love-hate issues. Radiohead is the for hardcore fanatic-- so I'll have to say Coldplay is the band for me.
BTW, I'm seeing Coldplay in September- jealous? |

IMHO it's an Apples and Oranges debate... No comparison...
And for the record, while I'm in a music related thread and this stupid new Coke commercial is on, I hate G. Love and his crappy sauce...

i probably prefer Coldplay over Radiohead... just because i'm not one of those elitist Radiohead freaks who know everything about them. i mean, i enjoy quite a few of their songs, but overall i'd have to say i enjoy Coldplay more.
but i love Keane even more. :D |

| Loved Radiohead from 98-2001. Like Coldplay but only listen to thier stuff on the radio. When OK Computer was played in my car daily years ago. |

Radiohead is always a downer for me, a sort of magical downer. It's good once in a blue moon, but who likes to feel that all the time? I would choose Coldplay.
Actually. Combine them both; Radiohead and Coldplay together and I'd pick the single "Crash" from Dave Matthews over them. :D

| Radiohead would be insulted by the comparison, I'm sure. This is the rock equivalent of asking whether you prefer AvB or Sasha. |

Yep, kinda what I was getting at with the Apples and Oranges comparison...
For the record, I like both bands, and dislike the majority of both bands hardcore fans... |

| well i can't say that i know that much about either band...but of the songs i've heard from them each i prefer coldplay's tunes... |
