It's not like all drugs are so OMGHORRIBLE you make them seem. The ironic thing is people drink alcohol, which is more or less just as damaging.

Anyway. Yeah, I agree on trance being all you need. :)

Yep just because a person chooses to indulge themselves in narcotics once in a while, it makes them a 'drug-addicted EDM fan.'

What a loser.

please. weed. do me a favor and if anyone in here is going to drink alcohol and then talk about the dangers of pot, keep your mouth shut.

for every 1 person who cant handle a little weed, there are 50 who's lives are ruined by alcohol.

drugs arent dangerous. the people who use them can be. no matter what the drug of choice is (alcohol, weed, e) if you cant handle it, you cant handle it.

weed...LOL

You know, I honestly wasn't sure how people would react to this thread. I applaud you guys for not being the stereotypical drug-addicted EDM fans. Makes me feel good.

actually, i disagree. you started a thread about cops busting drugs in clubs and it turned into a thread about the dangers of drugs. you've been hijacked, and this is typical for a thread like this.

my condolences to the people who have lost thier good mates to drugs :(

i was brought on the set into beliving that trance could only be enjoyed with use of MDMA or Cocaine or other mind bending subtances...

i had a phase of doing this but i realised its wrong VERY wrong it bring s on bad reputation to nightclubs and the genre

ive lost count of the times ive sed that im really into trance and people acuse me of being a pill head etc etc not even knowing what ive taken or done in the past..

i love trance with all my heart and now realised that its trance that keeps me going and i dont need hard drugs to enjoy ma self.

i just enjoy the natural buzz of the Dj, the music and the atmosphere without the need of drugs

E and EDM are the most beautiful combo ever.

the problem with the scene right now is that anyone who listens to electronic music is automatically assumed to be a pill popper. it offends me when i show my musical taste and people coincide that with "so, what drugs do you take?" it's offensive.
Any form of drug enforcement is good in my book. weeds out the EDM listeners from druggies.

Oh, really?

will destroy what small EDM scene you have.

people who enjoy trance without substances are in the minority and there are certainly not enough too fill a club.

In the UK several years ago a girl called Leah Betts died on her 18th birthday from taking ecstaasy. E got such bad press, and still does because of that it has certainly contributed to the implosion of the EDM scene in the UK. And i think that is a shame as if you are sensible E is not that dangerous a drug.

All things in moderation

Dammit, not more narcs :(

Hope they dont go out in force at WMC, that could ruin my trip over to the states
