Ferry Corsten Robbed @ Gunpoint

It appears as though Ferry Corsten was robbed at Gunpoint while in Sao Paulo, Brazil following an appearance at a Local Radio Station.
More details to come as I get them.
This is just a shame, though. |

i wouldnt doubt it... sao paolo is a very dangerous city. Especially for a blonde guy who was probably wearing high fashion.
argentina was much safer than brazil, which is why i didnt go to brazil much. |

DJMag. I wouldn't around about this.
But yeah, that sucks. I've been told Ferry's always really cool about talking to / getting in there with fans.. This won't help things any in the future. :(
Jayx1 does have a point, a guy like Ferry *would* stand out (I'd assume), and considering I'm making plans to vacation in Brazil.. This REALLY doesn't help. |

be very careful.. i only went with reputable travel companies. If you are with travel companies u are usually safe because they are mafia run so no one will touch you. If you go as a casual tourist the hotel operators may even be in on the robbery.. i know someone who got robbed between their hotel and the taxi!!!
always go with a travel guide..thats my advice.
Argentina is much much safer... i felt good walking around there but not brazil. |

my brothers' friend got robbed in rio weeks ago.
the guy flashed his gun and said hand over everything in spanish...
don't wear anything that has value nor bring more than 20$ in your pockets... these cities are just ridiculously dangerous. |

I'm guessing that's why after living in Brazil for 45 years and never being robbed once (living in Sao Paulo)my dad got robbed in Buenos Aires, right?! :rolleyes: |
