| I think it's a good development, they can see beyond that they don't agree with his vision of the world and just acknowledge that he was a brilliant economist and statesmen who played politics brilliantly. |

| you know i'd really have to say that its a little ridiculous that they are making a big deal out of this. i'd agree that hitler was a great leader...i just don't agree with his political views and actions...but you can't really deny that he was a good leader...if people can't really see that without the obvious things getting in the way, than i think that is a little unrational... |

Well, that was because he was to proud, he wounldn't take no for an answer, his beliefs that the germanian race was superiour clouded his judgement.
Non the less a brilliant man who stoud up for what he believed, I just don't agree with what he believed in.
Same goes for Bin Laden. |

uh...he almost took over Europe? even if he wasn't that great at military strategy, he had generals that were...
i dunno...i just think its a little silly to not be able to say someone was a great leader because they did horrible things. like i'd say ghengis khan was a great leader and so was mao tze dong and stalin are all good leaders...doesn't mean they were humanitarians, or they were good people, but they were great leaders... |

Yea, but those fell quickly and easily.
He was stupid for breaking his alliance with Stalin and attacking the Soviets before he had taken control of the UK.
If he would have grabbed the UK the war would have been lost for the allies.
Also he should have told the Japanese not to attack Perl Harbor but to sweep north through Mongolia and into the eastern Soviet Union and pushed west untill the Germans and the Japanese had the russians pinched.
Instead he was stupid and started a war on two fronts which is the dumbest thing someone can do besides starting a war altogether. |
well hey we all know the story...of course that was a mistake...i'm just saying that his tactics did work. the blitzkrig was a very effective tactic. yes they took on too much, but seriosuly even breaking the alliance with russia and attacking two fronts they almost won... |
