but if he wants to achieve his dream then good for him - not too often a man can achieve his dream. |

i do not agree with brown taking this job .. i am sorry, but the knicks are a circus right now .. they have a carousel of guards that are obviously fighting for 4 positions, and a group of big men that play small ( exclude warrick, because i think he can flourish in the pros .. he's got potential) .. i really like mike sweeney .. how come the knicks don't want to play him more ? .. maybe because they had to fulfill what they were paying kurt thomas, who obviously is a bust .. he also goes with christian laettner as awesome college players, dud pro players . |

congrats to thomas, the knicks, and larry brown ..
i really have high hopes for the organization .. i am admitably an isaiah thomas lover since his early days with "the bad boys" to his semi-works with indiana ( how he lured ron artest away from chicago ), and now i guess his "legos" work with new york .. |

| Blazers signed Juan Dixon to a deal. I'm quite happy actually. 3 years, 8 million. Good shooter and the Blazers desperately need some of that. Big game player. He scored 35 pts against Chicago in the playoffs one game this year. I hear he's a good character guy so that's good as well, Blazers need that. |

speaking of jamaal crawford and the knicks ...
on the other side of the bay, the nets got even better by getting jeff mcinnis .. a solid backup for jason kidd .. kudos again to nets management .. should we be thanking jay-z right now, or he doesn't take the management until the nets move to brooklyn ? |

1) the Nets have a very underrated GM in Rod Thorne
2) Bruce Rathner, owner of the Nets, will move the team to Brooklyn. He also decided to open up his wallets. |

indeed they did .. the three most important decisions he made in my opinion were :
1. keeping jason kidd stable in new jersey, after talks he wanted out of new jersey.
2. signing a fat contract to keep lawerence frank at the helm of the team. this guy is a really good coach.
3. not re-signing kenyon martin, instead taking vc, shareef, and making a solid backup bench .. this team could go far in 2006 .. as long as carter, rj, and kidd are there, they can make some havoc like they did in the early 2000s. |

I dont agree with this, they could have had a younger, better defensive player in Martin if they resigned him, this was the biggest mistake cuz they could have had an awesome season with Martin this year.
Carter is prone to injuries so i would'nt be so glad on having him even though when healthy he is almost as good as Kobe.
Building on an olding player who cryes every year about every thing like kidd is also not the best thing... |
