One of my TOP nights for 2005 so far. Marco was on fire and like the 7 other times i have seen him play he didn't disappoint me. This time at Guv seeing him was an absolute pleasure. The club wasn't jam packed and there was plenty of room to dance and stuff. Loved every minute.
Got to club around 11:30ish and Mark Oliver was playing some good tracks. He put on a good vibe for Marco to come on. The sound was great and the crowd was really into the music.It's good to see people having a balst and dancing. Marco came on just around 1:00AM and right off the bat he was pumping some solid tunes. I hadn't danced this hard all night since ...well ummm since Airwave at Viva lolz. Last night for me by far was much better than Tiesto at the Docks. No disrespect to any of you die hard Tiesto fans. The sound was great the tunes were great the crowd was great and there was lots of room to dance. I think i already mentioned that like twice before lolz.
Now to the shout outs ..... gek0 bro it was great meeting up with you, you sure know how to keep the energy levels up. magikb hun you are totally awesome to dance with and stuff it was great to see you again. Nada OMG lol you are a crazy moo foo while dancing hun it was a pleasure to finally meet you and hang out with you and Ali. Thanks for the drink also, muchly appreciated. Tiesto4life d00d you got some dance moves on you lol great to be front and centre on the stage with ya.Shaya bro great to meet you finally. Also met up with spyder and the broad you guys are loads of fun to chill with, i cant remember the names of everyone that was with you and i apologise for that but you all were fantastic to party with, and also thanks for buying the drink.
Hope to see some pics soon i know Nada and Shaya took some and thanks again to all the Tas, you guys made the night that much better and if i forgot to mention anyone i am sorry. See ya all you lovely folks again soon hopefully. |

An awesome heartpounding set by tech-trance master marco V..so many new tracks...and then Mark Oliver took us all over the other side....Brillinat performance by both masters

Time for lil review now:
Got to Guv around 12:15, line-up was really quick but sux that they didn't allow ppl up to skybar, kinda wanted to chill there for a few drinks before marco v came on. anyway, when he did come on at around 1 you could tell we were there for a hard ass trance in your face style with sick breaks for the whole night. Danny Tenaglia all over again (only like 1/6 of the time he played tho). You can't compare the sound system at Guv and the Docks and that is why I wish that next time Tiesto comes back to T-dot, he'll spin at the Kool or Guv. Big props to everyone who made this night one for the memories!!
Nada - I didn't think you'd come at first but you did and boy did I ever have a blast dancing my ass off with you at ceter stage. We were trying to pump up the crowd soooo bad but I don't think the response we got was the same as at Tiesto's. I can't wait for that NYC trip in october but there's still soooo much b4 that!!!
Trancegrooves - it was a pleasure to finally meet up with you after all this time even though I'm sure we've been to so many parties together. Keep it up dude, you've got the vibe no question!!
Magikb - quote of the night "we've met so many times" you: "OMG i'm soooo sorry, my memory is ed!!". You're amazing girl!! Hope you had a blast and you enjoyed the rest of the night at Cherry beach.

Sorry if I missed anyone but there are a lot of ppl to remember by name, by face it's a different story so everyone knows who they are. Best part of the night for me: I was perfectly sober the entire night!!! Like honestly ppl, how many people do you see dance to a point where they almost faint, and being sober (i mean not even drunk) at the same time??? And I loved every single moment of it, all I need is the music!!!!!
P.S. Can someone pleazzze id the track Marco V played at EXACTLY 4:00am!!! It was off the hooks

| I had my buddy tell me about this, but apparently mark oliver asked for a moments silence to remember those lost in england, and many ignorant club goers would not shut up. Im really at a loss for words to hear that something so simple requested by oliver could not be delivered until he had to ask multiple times for poeple to be quiet. without oliver there would be no GUV, show the man and the poeple lost in england some respect. |

Agreed .... Marco V was sick .. and Mark Oliver just owned it after .. lol .. I stayed all the way until 7am ! damn what a set .. wouldnt have missed that for anyhting !

Got a little hot on the stage so we went out to the patio a couple of times.
Marco V defintely had the velvet hammer goin' on last night. Started off good and then SLEDGEHAMMER!:crazy:
Nice to meet some TAs I haven't actually met yet along wtih some of the ole' crew. :gsmile:
