still recovering from lack of sleep and the heat ....
as for music wish there was more variety, I found it to be way to hard for way too long, but atleast it was good music. Highlights for me was definately seeing OS/2, great energetic set, put that smile back on my face, JELO was great always impressed with his energetic techy sound, Gloude was cool too. Matt Hardwick was mind blowing, was dead tired but kept on dancing till I couldn't feel me knees. As for the TA tent, everyone played amaazing, super duper times, made hell of a difference for sure :)
It was nice to spend time with familiar faces, and get to know some of you a little better

Yeah, so a bunch of DJs were no-shows. To all the naysayers I say: this WEMF wasn't about the music for most of us, and if you didn't have a good time because you didn't like the music, it's your own damn fault. :p
I really had a great time... we had *almost* the whole 613 crew in full force, and add to that the many, many faces that we almost NEVER get to see anymore. I know that to a lot of you nübs, it was just a bunch of random new people to meet, but for the rest of us it was kind of a reunion.
All the trainspotters demanding full tracklistings and vivid descriptions of the decor (not to mention the dorks who didn't attend the event but still feel the need to throw in their two cents about the lineup) can just right off. You missed out on some crazy good times, not to mention several very hilarious requests for rare and/or nonexistent chemicals.

It's OK, I don't have a problem with the general commentary, just the "OMG I'm so glad I didn't go because the lineup was so *meh* because so and so didn't show up and he was the only one I would have gone to see if I'd gone at all!!!!@#$OMGHI2UWTFBBQ" comments. :) |

Ok... so here's my take on WEMF.
Swung by to pick up Shane(Flec)
Car was overheating and I thought the day was gonna take a turn for the worst!! :nervous: ...but after some quick thinkin and Petro Canada we were red-2-go. :D
Got to the site and got no hassle 'AT ALL' even got to park my car in the VIP area... dunno how?? but I wasn't about to question!
was lost within ALLLLLL those tents, but my sharp "EYE" spotted Sgtfoo and so we found the gang, we then started the drinking ASAP!
the PURGE tent was rockin... LOTS of new faces..and some familiar ones (AZ)
I didn't know u were coming...very glad u did. :D
for music..there were some classics, Psy, and live PA as and then came the trance to finish off the night and get us ready for the night that was to come. Between the 2 rooms the stage and all the side tents promoting products with live dj's.. I saw too many dj's too remember. Wasn't really feeling Donald Glaude vs Jelo spurts of genius..
then there were moments where I was just confused! RITM put on an interesting show. Not quite my thing
though, so I went to the next room where Mixmaster Mike was tearing it up. Came back to catch the very
end of RITM.. and then M. Hardwick came on and did his thing. luved it.. was finally able to dance/jam.
I remember leaving the main stage when Sheridan was pumpin some remix to NuNRG - Dreamland (anyone knows what reaix that was?). Passed out for a bit...then the morning came.
Ray & RJ played the perfect choons for a early morning session.. I liked that song u played RJ... it goes.. "No Smoking, No Drugs, No Partying.... just FUK!!" great track.. and dirty beat.
all & all it was an awesome weekend spent with cool down 2 earth people who know how to party and have a good time.
I'm sorry..but I'm absolutely horrible with names, so I'd just like to say it was a pleasure for me to meet quite a few of you for the first time, and spending time with those I already knew.
I Look forward to seeing u all again. |

| what a ing awsome weekend. got up there early afternoon on saturday and experianced the madness for the first time...and definetly not the last! people were chill and the music was amazing. rabbit on the moon was ing intense! crazy visuals....hope everyone had a blast and to those who didnt come this year better make the effort next summer;) |

I hope you were not reffering to me. I had a great time the only reason I even posted who didn't show was because someone had asked and there seemed to be some confusion. |
