Why is Jerusalem special for the Jews? Why is Jerusalem special for the Christians? The answer to your question is the same answer for these two questions...

Jerusalem isn't even in Israel so how can it be capital?!
Why do you find it weird that Palestinians would want Jerusalem as their capital but not weird that Israel wants Jerusalem as their capital? |

Jerusalem is not recognised as part of Israel by the international community. Therefore, technically, it is not part of Israel. Only Israel recognises Jerusalem as their capital, which carries the same amount of weight as the Palestinian claim (in the eyes of the law)
And WHAT THE are you talking about with Crusades to annihilate Mecca?! WHAT THE has that got to do with anything?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?! |
