Continuing the Anchorman reference,

Veronica Corningstone: Doesn't it mean Saint Diego?
Ron Burgundy: No. No.
Veronica Corningstone: No, that's - that's what it means. Really.
Ron Burgundy: Agree to disagree.

I do agree that 9/10 tracks is a low.

Don't you get bored just standing around for the next track?? I know i would lol.

I usually try to get minimum 15 tracks in, 20 is an achievement.

In saying that, it really does depend what style you are playing. But you either do quick mixes and play less of the track, or do longer mixes where the tracks overlay each other so you don't get 8mins of the same track.

Just my opinion of course.

I shouldn't have gotten into this debate :nervous:

All good tho!

Seriously, < 12 I'd call low.

My thoughts on getting >10 in trance :-
Mix the whole outro of 1 track into the whole intro of another, it's call Layering.

if people seriously wanna see a good trance mix, check out tiesto's magik 6. some of the tunes he mixes straight off the second breakdown so that they have shorter times in each tracks.. in other mixes he just mixes straight through the middle of each track between when breakdown 1 ends and breakdown 2 begins.. couldnt be that hard.
