I post in the Self Promotion Thread a fair bit... and seriously couldnt care if 1 person or 50 million people downloaded my tracks.. Its more got to do with sharing my music than getting any sort of promotion happening... I dont really care if people dont know who I am.. there is no real ambition there to get my music played in a club... otherwise you wouldnt read my posts about bagging djs out. ( ie i would be sucking dick )
I remember about 2 years ago on ITM, JPL sent me a PM asking to send me a CD in the mail... I told him not to bother because i would probably hate it.. I didnt know who he was at the time. Some people are open to emails / pms of the promotional nature... others dont like it. |
