who misses the good ol days of trance?

i just listened to an old cd today and braught back so many memories. hearing all the classix like 'system f - exhale', 'dumonde - never look back,' 'collusion - conspiracy,'atb - hold you (svenson & gielen remix)'
i've definately moved on a lot since then, becuase nowadays i listen to trance, techno, house, prog and sometimes a few others EDM genres and back then it was only trance. but it just braught back a lot of good memories and back then everyone was into trance where now some ppl look down upon it. for me 2001 was definately THE year! |

I wish I could go to some sort of an event where they blasted the old stuff, all the way from say 98 till about 2002. Those were the days! :)
I think 2000 was THE year for me, too many good memories! :D |

| definately agree. it would be so sweet if an event was organized for all the old classix. i remember mark oliver did something similar half a year back i think, but i wasn't able to catch it. |

I wish I was for that performance. Perhaps we email Oliver and see if he'd be interested in doing another night like that? It'll surely get the old trance crowd out on the floor, hell, It's be a musical orgy for me :P |

| I only turned 19 in 2003...but man coming to Canada from Europe had it's advantages in music selection. I've been around techno since longer than I can remmeber. I watched trance created and grow throughout the years...to be honest I didn't know trance was trance till about 99 or 2000, but I listened to it for years thinking it was just techno :D hehe the mind of a child ;) |
