I just got home.. had a blast!! Probably my 2nd best night at Avalon ever (not a huge compliment but still!) only to Armin in October 2003...

Paavo & Jono really threw down tonight... Some quick tracks I remembered:

David West featuring Andreas Hermansson - Larry Mountains 54
Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (Instrumental) vs ID (Acapella)
Delerium - Silence (Above & Beyond's 21st Century Mix)
Above & Beyond vs Andy Moor - Air For Life (Airwave Mix)
Above & Beyond - No One On Earth (G&D Mix) vs What It Feels Like For A Girl
Last Track of the Night: Oceanlab - Satellite (Above & Beyond Remix) (MAJORLY awesome song to end the night on!)

Nice meetin Greg, Drew, GUBoston, ludawg, and that girl who brought me upstairs to say watup to A&B whose name I dont remember
:nervous: ... Also big thanks to Paavo for saying whatup and signing a flyer for me!

Awesome night.. not too crowded and it was very enjoyable to say the least... a big rarity for a place like Boston :)

Thanks all!

Now off to get my beauty sleep :happy2:

I'm still up right now lol

Some others: =)
Yimlaz Altanahan - Eighties (Ozgur Can Remix)
Armin Van Buuren - Birth of an Angel (Shivers dub)
Ridgewalker feat El - Find (Andy Moor Remix?)
Eye Wall - Bad Deal (Remy & Roland Klinkenberg remix)

had an awesome time. nice to see the NYTA crew and nice to finally meet Matt (DiMethGuy)
Jen it was awesome to meet you (again) =)

couldn't find the rest of the beantown ta's and i lost matt after i was talking to him in the vip room. i kept lookin for you all night but couldn't find you. where did you go? i was right infront of the dancer's block on the floor.

Above and Beyond was awesome, first time i saw them and they made my night with Delerium - Silence (Above and Beyond 21st Century Remix) SOOO GOOD, i never thought i'd hear this classic in the club but you can add it to the list =)

i have the track they played 2 songs before No One on Earth stuck in my head. name should come sooner or later i hope.

First Track Of The night Was a Personal Favorite of Mine

D:Fuse Featuring Jes Breiden - Living The Dream (Matthew Dekay Remix)

had a really good time last night. Definitely nice to meet some new TA's, madhattered (Red). I was on the dancefloor and podiums after the VIP so we must have been right near each other, lol.

Nice that it wasn't totally packed, plenty of room to manouever. Free martinis was cool, but I was way too gone by 1:00, lol. Definitely don't remember many tracks...

well back to lawn mowing...

last night was awesome, I liked their set better than the one Armin played a few months back.

They also played Super8 - Cre8 (original mix), which was one of the best songs of the night.

I talked to Paavo briefly and had him sign some stuff, he's a really nice guy :)

:conf:

were u guys in boston cuz of another reason besides to see them? cuz they are playing at GUVERNMENT *next* week and probably will spin longer than the 3ish hrs they spun at boston **shruggs**

but yeah, sorry to hear that happened to u guys. actually when they looked at my license they were like, "is this how they make the NYC licenses now?" -- basically insinuating that it was really lame. yeah, as if Boston licenses are a work of art. wtf :wtf: wat a NEEDLESS comment.

omg i went nuts hearing it :D Armin dropped their remix last August at CroBAR but it was def awesome hearing A&B drop it. The night ended with them dropping 'Satellite' -- now that was siiick :D

so happy we made the trip up with al and jenn (that was a fuuuun car ride :D) and then going to avalon wid Lee. great to see madhattered with his grl, other NYC heads up there, as well as meeting new TAs. :D

pretty much just got back from boston (in under 3 hours) :D

lol - quote of the wkend

'boy u got some BALLS wearing that HAT here." -- Grl from Northeastern to Drew after we stepped in the elevator. lol :D (she was originally from Long Island tho. ish koo)

I was there
I'm not too much of a trance guy but boy did they rock the place everyone went nuts to Silence, and if my ears didn't deceive me (ears still ringing, hehe), half the crowd was singing along to it

Satellite was a perfect track to end the night, everyone had their hands up in the air, it was priceless...

after they were done, a "one more track!" chant started, to prompt A&B for an encore track, but that did not happen unfortunately...
