ugh, I know exactly how that is! I was in grade eight and got in a fight with my brother who is 4 years older than me. Anyways, he ends up picking me up and throwing me on my head. Yeah, not cool. I felt different, and didn't know what was going on. I went to bed and then went to school the next morning. Well, I was asked to read in front of the class and I couldn't see a word on the page! Everything was a big blur. And I was stuttering and the words didn't make sence. I was dizzy and blacking out and my vision was getting worse and worse. I was sent to the emergency room and they said i had a really bad concussion and I had to stay home for like a week, and what was worse: I had to have a month without gym class!!!!!!!

concussions are the worst. I used to get way too many of them. Another by-product of that last concussion I had was the fact that after I returned to good health, I noticed I was very different in the way I formed my speech. I can't explain it, but speaking in public became harder, and forming words on the fly became more difficult as well. By no means is there a delay in my speech, but it just feels different from before that concussion....It was a really big bump to the old coconut let me tell you.

lol same here. It's sad, but I know all the doctors and nurses by name (I even have some favourites) and they know me as soon as i walk in and are like, "What happened THIS time, Katie?"

It gives the visit a more personal touch lol. :)

Oh yeah, I have most of the fibres in the MCL in my right knee torn.

I love football (seriously).

My worst happened in the 8th grade. My brother whipped me in the eye with a string and cut my eyeball open. I was blind for a week, but it healed perfectly.

Other memorable ones:

Cut my wrist open fighting in tae kwon do. Whoever I was fighting didn't cut their toenails, and they kicked me in the wrist. Suprisingly enough, it drew blood, and theres still a small scar, even though it happeend like 2 years ago. Its gradually fading though.

Shot myself in the ear with an air powered nail gun. Safety stuck and the gun went off. Nail bounced off some floor tiles, and reflected back and hit me in the ear. it didnt even completely pierce my ear, but it bled a lot.

Cut the tip of my middle finger off with an exacto knife. I was too lazy to use a coping saw to cut a piece of wood, and I tried with the exacto knife. It split along the grain and ended up taking a small chunk out of the tip of my middle finger on my right hand.

Got so drunk at Money for my 21st birthday. Got into a fight with my friend. Don't remember any of this. Woke up in the hospital b/c my friend punched me in the eye and it turned out that I had damage on my cornea and couldn't open my eye for three full days. Because the pain was so severe on my right eye, I couldn't open my left cuz my right one would hurt right away. So I was lying in bed for three full days and couldnt' see anything. It was scary!! And the drugs didn't even get me high to forget eveything!! Should of smoked some hash!!

However when I had my sciatic nerve damage from a freestyle fall during skiing, I was put under some extra acetaminophen and codeine pills and that was crazy!! When the pain went away, I had some left so we used to break it up and smoke it with weed! What an unbelievable high it was!!! Got some extra ones if anyone needs them!

lol i will never get this outta my head...when i first learned how to ride a bicycle, my cousin and i decided to find the biggest ramp in the city (back home in croatia) and make skid marks...the longest skid, that person wins...so we were making a few and on my last ride...smart me...i had the brakes on for too long (in an area where there were pebbles and such) and a few pebbles got stuck in the chain...i not only took a 360...but i also landed on one knee - dont ask how i managed that - needless to say, YES! it was painful, i still have a scar - but it was the longest skid mark i made that night! lol

i have a few injuries but that one is my fave lol...

I was 6 years old and swimming in my aunt's pool. The rubber stopper on the bottom of the ladder that prevents the metal from cutting the liner had fallen off. I went to climb up the ladder and RRRRRIPPPPPPPPPPPPP goes the top half of my foot. I still have the scar.

She's a beauty eh? :D

I broke my arm racing friends down a hill on rollerskates. I was 10 yrs old and went into a shock when I saw my bent forearm.

Also around 10 yrs old, I burnt part of my right hand while playing firecrackers with friends. Keep those flames far away from your eyes cuz they are ing hot, roasted my hand within a second.

While attending boarding school in India, I also fractured my heel bone climbing pipes on the ceiling. I decided to jump to the concrete ground below, lost control and landed with my heels rather than toes.

The most painful was around 12 yrs old. While visiting relatives in Austria, I came across a bike ramp for the first time. It looked easy, so stupid me, decided to try it like a pro. well.. while coming off a jump, somehow my feet slipped off the pedals and I landed on the seat with my groin. yes! that burnt me down there for a while.

Since moving to Canada, I've suffered a broken nose and collar bone playing rugby in highschool, and more recently a ruptured knee playing soccer last summer.
