Paragraph shout-outs (to some people who aren't even on the board WTF!?) is totally unecessary. |
btw what are you talking about here? (dunno if you really want to continue this pointless convo though; in future events when I have as great a time as I did last night I will post just as long--if not longer--reviews) |

What a night...
Left London at a decent time and arrived at my friend Sarah's house to wish her a super duper happy birthday :D Headed down to the club and arrived there (after a stop at Starbucks of course) by about 11pm.
Not too many people inside but caught Dennis' eye right away. Went up to thank him for the GL (Thanks again ;)) and watched him rock the set for a bit. Chatted with Walter as he mentioned he wasn't going to be playing at all that night; "There are enough DJ's to go around I think".
Wandered around and showed Sarah the club for a bit and then came back down to see...Walter on the decks ;) haha, sure sure...not going to play tonight I see.
Then we're getting things up with energy meeting up with a couple of TA's and "The Boy's" from Germany come waltzing in the front doors. A quick hello as they didn't know we were coming and they were off to prepare for a bit.
We went to the back near the entrance to the stage area and waited for a bit when all of a sudden...."Blank and Jones - Perfect Silence (feat. Bobo)" comes on ... I just about died. Sarah then informs me that she has to leave as she has to work the next morning JUST as Dumonde are walking up onto the stage. Unfortunately for her it was a "Okthxforcomingoutmissyoubye" and we were up on stage (sorry hun, I'll make it up to you, I promise!).
When Dumonde started it was like the club erupted. It was rammed, it was hot, it was sweaty, and it was LOUD. The rumble they begain with in their intro just tore the roof off the club itself.
Banging track after track up in that booth was just incredible all night.
As posted earlier...

Also to add to the list was of course "JamX and DeLeon vs Judge Jules - What's in Your Head?"
I went down into the crowd to chill with the TA's for a bit. Some seriously pumped up people that night and I was really glad to be a part of it. fayraree; you're crazy man....that towel was f'n hilarous. Glad you finally got to meet the boys back at the rear of the club. They mentioned you later actually ;)
Speaking of later the night came to a close just as Dumonde dropped TOMMOROW (Sorry Cale...AGAIN) as their encore. They packed up their gear, and did what most DJ's don't do; hung out at the back of the club and chilled with fans and friends.
Then it was off to a nice full breakfast with Kandaio and myself. They commented on my A: small ass car and B: what the hell is the weird noise its making?... but whatever, I wasn't worried about it. After some serious food, mocking of the waitress and just a great time it was time for goodbye's and some sleep for the Giant German Duo.
Off it was home for Kandaio and I back to London...but was it? NO!
My car CONTINUED to make that aweful noise Dominick was talking about. It was grinding and drifting...it was f'd. So I pulled into a mechanic's shop and it turnes out I had to replace the bearing on my front left tire. So Dominick and Juergen...it ended up costing me just around $400 to see you guys last night; but of course it was worth every penny :D Again soon but on YOUR turf ;)
We're home, safe and sound w/ a fixed car. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this SUNDAY a great event. Nat; can't wait to see the pics ;)
Off to my interview ;) Should be fun :D
