dumonde killed it and they played my song (mr sam - lyteo rank 1 mix) so i died.
this is why i say that crowd interaction is what makes my night. did i love every song they played? no. did i dance my ass off anyways because they pump you the up and look like they'd rather be nowhere else on earth but here? yup. |

omg that was amazing
second time being at republik (first was for judge jules) and i can say i like it this time much better.
the music was off the hook. dumonde really know how to tear it up good. as mentioned before they played some wicked ass trance and some hard beats that really got me moving. i was busting a move all night long as were all the other TAs. tunes of the night were perfect silence, on the move, symsonic, and of course awakening.
the funny thing is, last time i saw dumonde on halloween at the docks, i never lost my energy or felt tired even though i was up early that day. this happened again. never did i ever feel tired throughout their set, even thought i was up early that day and even went to the gym.
it was great seeing all the TAs there, which really boosted my energy on the floor.
i will defintely wont miss dumonde next time they come here agian. |

hmm, just dawned on me that I havent really written a proper review...
NIght started with me mentally throwing things at Spyder to wake her up...I was convinced I wasnt going to make it when alas! She awoke! So we hightailed it down there and got in at 1220ish...mingled till we found other TA's (So Many of you to shout out to....refer to Fahads thread, I think hes got it covered plus some :p )and the off duty go-go dancers. Things seemed to be warming up at a nice steady pace...There was a serious increase in anticipation for Dumonde to come on when I saw them walk thru the crowd with their security and Del and Ari..It was intense! Totally enjoyed the set..it was off the hook! I didnt even pay attention to the fact that I was completely drenched in sweat, just kept dancing! Awesome night all together!
Honorary mention to Spydie for comin out (Im getting you an alarm clock!!! LOL!) SurrJR6, very nice to meet you. Fayraree, you are officially the TA Head Cheerleader; Sean, my doll! I missed you! and Navid and his sister, always a good party with you guys :D Flec and friends, and Tyler, Karim and Nat :) |

Awesome nite…
yes lots of arm twisting for xtina to get me to go out ;) I’ll always be pumped up for Dumonde
right I go take a nap so I be ready for the nite.. and I sleep in.. :( ya exactly totally slept in till like 1130 pm!!!! Didn’t even realize cuz mom didn’t want to wake me up GRRR her…
Got down and into the club in under 30 min so that was great got in but saw no one… *cry* ya so we danced for an hour till we finally saw karim (HAPPY BIRTHDAY) and his friend… sorry cant remember your name… and later on we kept on seeing more and more TA’s pop out yum..
Yes I could dance more this time!!!! First time I went out to see dumonde (very first time I went out to a club) at Viva I wore heels.. :whip: ya can you say pain couldn’t dance after 2 am… so I am so glad I came out and really got to be happy with the music..
I really liked this nite out of most, bc I had a constant smile planted on my face with out any delays.. most nites that ive gone out too the dj did put a smile on my face but it would have been for like 3 or 4 tracks he would play… dumonde made me smile from the min they got on to the last when they got off..
the crowed was surprisingly large for a Sunday then again I’ve never been out on a Sunday yet…
Highlight of the nite for me… slappin the dj’s ass :D

phone died hense why i didnt hear it besides it was on silent and i took the sound off on msn cuz its soo bloody damn anoying...

Amazing night. Great tunes. Wicked time dancing. Pleasure meeting all the TAs and hanging out and stuff. As I was leaving Republik last night after hearing Dumonde, a tear of joy came rolling down and I was thinking man it's a damn shame that Dumonde is going low key for a while and stuff with the reason being that they dont think or havent gotten the response as much as they would have hoped for about their music. How could someone not like the music they make is beyond me but then again starnger things have happened in this world.
Dumonde , I for one will really miss seeing you guys in the scene for whatever time you guys decide to take off and stuff.I love your music and I have no words in my vocab that can describe the appreciation and respect I have for you guys.I truly from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU guys for all the great memories from the past and ofcourse last night. Long Live EDM !!! |
