^^^ See above. I have an iPod mini (2nd generation).
Honestly, my charger is not much bigger than the size of the Micro batteries -- I've seen Matt's.
The difference in packing an extra battery or packing the iCase car/home charger I have is negligible... for all intensive purposes there is no real difference, honest. |
ok that makes a lot more sense now, lol.
Dude, i dont have a micro! I have an older player, and the ac adapter is large, so i dont like to carry it. It's easily larger than the ipod mini itself.
On a side, note, what kind of transfer rates do these new small players get? My player uses a conventional laptop harddrive, and i can get upto 70Mbps out of it, and some people have been known to ge upto 90Mbps. I wonder what these new micro drives can get. |

anyway, I think the Gmini looks better

iPod is the Tiesto of the MP3 world.... not bad, but there are better options, not to mention over-hyped :stongue: |

iPods ease of use and functionality are still amazing by the way.
In fact the problem with all these other products is that they are designed by techie geeks who have no idea or background in design whereas Apple uses industrial designers and other design professionals to design their producs...
it's like comparing GM to Audi :toothless |

Dude, sorry man, I know you have the Jukebox, I was just drawing a comparison to say someone who would chose the Micro over the iPod mini based on the replaceable battery option.
That was the only point i meant to drive home! Didnt mean to drive you bonkers. LOL. |

see im really skeptical about that. Current mp3 players can do it too(like the Iriver H320/340), but because the processors are so slow(dont need to be fast to play music), the video play back is crap. On the Iriver you can only play back Xvids @ 10fps @ 280x160 or something small like that.
They would have to bump up the processor speed a lot to let it handle videos, and that would just kill the battery! |

Indeed it is -- thought color is only a bonus for me. I still think I'd take the smaller size of the iPod mini over the color display of the iPod photo.
But gotdam is that ever ing beautiful! It marvels me -- hehehe, the iPod is an electronic mp3 player equivalent to a really hot woman! :D
Video did you say? OMG!
If that is true, even though I own a mini, I honestly think I will go out and ing buy a iPod w/ video capabilities.... that'd be supreme.
Honestly, I really do think they should add the customization playlist option that the Creative Labs players have. That would trully make the iPod SUPREME in my humble opinion.
color + video + customizable on-the-go playlists (ie. adding, removing and re-ordering songs, albulms, etc. while on the move :))
