WIKKID WIKKID - THE TA'S WERE BRINGING IT UP TONIGHT FOLKS!!!
(bring on the reviews people - tracklisting for night was SICK!)
Arrived with Tatgirl and Graham and co shortly before midnight.....sailed throught the door and prepared to meet the masses.
SUCH AN EXCELLENT TRANCEADDICT TURNOUT!!!:eyespop: :eyespop:
And as I am sure in the pages to follow.......details of this VERY FUN FUN night shall be told...
I thought Above and Beyond played amazingly.......first time seeing them DJ live and the energy they gave off was SICK!!
In the first couple of tracks.......Angelic - It's My Turn mixed into and with AVB Shiver (I THINK???:o )
All I know is that that track has a very special meaning to me and Jules' wife sings so beautifully on that track....LOVE IT.
Lots of highenergy trance/prog trance was played....smattering of the vocals......and lots of new !!
I had an extremely good time.
With all of us there tonight - we basically did not have to associate with anybody else except the TA's and when that happens at the GUV = WIKKID TIMES SPENT WITH EACH OTHER!!!!
Of course it got hot in there, (although that ice-blast machine - was exremely well received) use it MORE!!! And it was RAMMED!
But the beats were WIKKID and on par with what we have come to expect from these masters of trance!!!
My Girl Christina - we nearly bowled over a dozen people rushing to the floor when NO ONE ON EARTH - came on!! But it was worth it - the place went NUTS!!!!
So many people were met - seen again and re-introduced. My mind is still swimming from all the names and faces ;)

| just got home, drinking massive orange juice, then goin to bed. all I can say right now is that i'm still dancing to the tunes, have them in my head and singing them out loud. when a djs set does that to you, theres nothing more that needs to be said but amazing. |

| all I know is that I had a friggin amazing time, this has been one of the best nights for me. I had the biggest friggin smile on my face the entire time. thinking about the night gives me massive emotion haha, friggin wicked. you guys are all awesome and great friends. |

OMFG what a night. Will have to post more later...gotta crash for 1.5 hours before hosting an all-day tour of Toronto for my in-laws...then somehow I'm gonna make it for Lot332 tonight with my fiancee...I can't wait to introduce her to the FAMILY! ;)
All I can say is muthafackin WOW there were so many TAs. WE OWNED FRONT AND CENTRE. THAT WAS ZONED OFF. And the best part was HARDLY ANYONE (except for other TAs of course) passed through our barriers!!!! It was facking amazing to see the KW crew out there; it was like being at the Vault, only ABOVE AND BEYOND was spinning!!! :D :D :D :D

It was SUPER FACKIN AWESOME to finally meet you...and just after dancing with you for a few minutes you suddenly disappeared and MINUTES later

But the moment of the night for me was dancing with Nikitha (sorry for being such a dumbass and not remembering you at first...for some ed up reason when you introduced yourself as "Nikki" I was spelling your name, "Nicky" in my mind, and I was thinking, damn, I don't know any "Nickys" :conf: and then suddenly my dumbass puts 2 and 2 together and I'm like...WHOA NIKKI!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!! And I flipped out!!!! LOL!!!! :D :D SOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME TO DANCE TO NO ONE ON EARTH WITH YOU!!!!!!!! THEY FACKIN DROPPPED IT!!!!
ABOVE AND BEYOND made this night incredible, and dancing with the likes of my FAVORITE ing crew of SOOOOOOOOOO many TAs!!! GOTTA SHOUT OUT to JER. though, for making this awesome event happen!!! YOU RAWK!!! (e.g. Dan, Nada, Jenn, Haris, Rob, Jem, Josh, LISA LOO!!! ;), Lars, Mark and Valeria (where did you go? :(), Tyler, Linzie, Barry, Aaron, DJ ENDGAME, Laura, Jay, Cam, Christina, my whole KW crew (including awishabear... so many others), Smuncky, etc. etc. wtfetc. in I've already started it...:p) the list will continue later....OLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED THE ING CAUTION TAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS PURE GENIUS!!!! :D :D :D I feel terrible I didn't get to dance with you at all :( :( :( , also met Sean (you BRUNG it! ;) :p), Mr. Swamper, the cutest ing girl I know, COURTNEY (Jenn's friend) and her HAWT friend, Vicky...damn WTF is in KW water?!?!?! I got my ing Car Towed!! That really sucked. But beyond that.. IT WAS IN AWESOME!! Great to meet a bunch on new TA's.

Heh, crazy night indeed. My first introduction to TA's, and I met like 20 this night at least. Too tired to rant about how good it was, seeing how it was more or less covered in the previous posts :D

When Barry, Justin and I met with Paavo and Jono @ Pantages before the Gig, One of the first things he made mention of was The TA Roll Call.. Although I beamed with pride, it was all YOUR names on it that made the difference.
What I heard from the boys tonight was completely and totally beyond my expectations. I figured they'd go completely proggy and a little techy, but *nothing* could have prepared me for what I heard.

Hearing these (Especially #1 and #3) completely blindsided me.. Never expected to hear 'em.. BT (Signum) is pretty much *the* Track that really piqued my attention to the entire Anjunabeats catalogue.
For those who were *really* paying attention (or saw me completely freak out), You all got the rare opportunity to hear a track from the forthcoming Above and Beyond artist album, entitled Alone Tonight and featuring male Vocals. It seemed like a couple of you were slightly confused by it @ the beginning.. But once it got moving towards the first build.. It absolutely tore a new ass out of the Guv.
I'm not about to start running off names just because my memory is atrocious @ best. But it was amazing seeing you all again, and positively phenominal meeting many *many* of you for the first time entirely. I can't technically speak on their behalf, but both Paavo and Jono were both thrilled with both the turnout and great positive vibes that everyone was showing. I'm glad some of you took the time to come up and meet our visitors, again, the support was much appreciated!
That all being said, I think it's bedtime. I'm completely beat!!

Although i had to leave around 3:30 am i still had a freakin amazing time. I was so excited to hear shivers...its one on my fav tracks!!!!
**And a big thank you to Barry for calling me at 5am so i could listen to Sand in my shoes being played while i sat in the Tim Hortens Drive Thru :)**

What a great night. Got there for 11, chilled out in front of DJ booth.
Was waiting for meet up, but at 11:55 Mark O dropped a tune I really like so I hit the floor.
Mark Oliver was great. His opening set made me wonder what Abouve And Beyond to do to top it off.
What a great opening by Mark Oliver.
Above And Beyond just carried where Mark O left off and what a great mix the gave to us.
Oceanlab - Satallite was one of my highlights
The Frost machine was really nice. Cool air and totally fog blind for a few seconds, now that is fun, glad they added it.
Mark Olivers last hour of close was sooo choice. I am glad I stayed.
I really liked the whole last hour, but Adinan Beautiful Things was so nice to hear at Guv.
