Wow I cant belive theres not a thread yet, plenty of TA's were there and I gotta say as much as Sander rocked the best part of the night was seeing everbody out and having a great time! Lets see Kristen thank you again! Awesome seeing Jm and Marv!! Good times were had talking to Andy Aquadyne, Juilet and the dude from Detriot, sorry I cant remember your name. Good to finally meet Bobby, and meeting Kristen is always a pleasure(its gotta be like 10 times now , but no worries!:) )
My first time at Crobar and I gotta say I loved it, the layout is really awesome, and the sound was pretty good! Sander was unbelivable, just an awesome set and he was way into it, its really a shame this isn't a residancy. I gotta say tracks of the night were:
Cruel Summer
The washing Mashine song
Say Hello
And I cant remember the name but the Robotic track
I left around 420 or so I just could not hang anymore, Ive been having back problems and I was more than ready to head back home. I hope he spun Mr. Roboto for you guys that stuck around!:toocool: Im gonna nominate this for best best party of the year, even though I wasnt at LB last week! |

| Neil, it was really nice meeting you and Pat. I didn't get to say goodbye to you unfortunately - I had to leve just before 4. Give Pat my best and next time I will probably see you will be for Junkie XL. I didn't get a chance to give you my number or to get your number down (somebody knocked the phone out of my hand and it took a dive from 2nd level to ground floor - luckily it didn't hit anyone.). |

Mashtronic - Beloved
I'll write a real review later. I'm tired.
The 'Washing Machine' graphics were neat.
Oh, and mad props go out to the overweight grey-haired gentleman tearing it up on the back platform on the main dancefloor, and also to the girl who was rockin it out so hard on the front platform that her pupils were rolled into the back of her head.
Yikes!
Oh and Seneca can I see your pics before they go public? :)
Oh and Tony hope you made it back alright. You were a real trooper hangin' in there as long as you did.
Oh and I'll stop rambling now. |

quick review from me since i didn't stay that long (my friend started to get sick so we left around 3 am) -
christen - thank you so much for getting us on the list and the VIP wristbands. first of all, girl, ever since i've met you - you have been the awesomest (even if that's not a word). i always have fun whenever you're around and i just felt like when you wouldn't dance with me this night... hopefully i didn't pull stupid again
tony - you are the main man. i am so glad you'll be around the area when i go back to school. you are the coolest dude ever and we always have a grand time on the dancefloor - i saw you take that asian chick to school bro and it was a ing lesson well learned for her.
james - recognizable as always - we'll discuss the WMC situation and hopefully it'll all work out. Always a pleasure.
andy - you double-fisting mother******. Sorry I didn't make it out to your place beforehand but good to see you out anyway. It seems like you appear out of nowhere and go away just as sneaky throughout the night.
Kristen - good to finally meet you. I hope this means we see more of each other at Vision and such.
Seneca - you probably had the most fun out of all of us. See your ass this saturday.
neil... or neile - don't think i forgot about you man. good to finally meet you too.
Everyone else - become more memorable.
Crobar - though the space itself it better than Vision, the sound system and lighting is worse - not gonna lie. DJ booth is way too far from dance floor too. However I did have a good time upstairs.
Sander K - the mothering funky progressive house KING - period. I don't need to say much else - I know everyone enjoyed themselves.
Astral Projection - please come back when someone I haven't seen is not in town because I'd love to see you guys again.
later all.
- Dennis. |

ing incredible night! probably one of the best of the year. between seeing sander/lawler in nyc; burridge and now sander again - this has been one unbelievable month of music - can't remember when i've been able to see my favorite dj's in a one month time span!
first time being to crobar since they remodeled it and i have to say that it's probably the best venue in chicago, but the crowd left something to be desired. there was a good number of music nerds, however, there were a LOT of people who had no idea who sander was. the dancefloor was packed (went down on the dancefloor 2 or 3 times in the night, but kept getting pushed around so gave up - don't tall people realize that there is a short asian chick down here?), but there was plenty of room to dance on the 2nd floor.
thanks to sander for playing such a great set - he kept me dancing most of the night except when he threw in the occasional prog track - i'm sure chicago29 enjoyed those tracks ;)
great finally meeting so many of the "new" TA's that have joined the board recently - and i'm sure you will all have to introduce yourself to me another 3 or 4 times before i remember your name ;) it's nothing personal - it's just that i'm old and feeble and can't hear a thing in clubs!
glass - thanks for hanging out with uwm, d&g girl and myself for as long you could - you are the quite the trooper!
and that limo ride was a surreal experience at the end of the night and afters was a nice, chill and relaxing time - thanks KID-M and i will make it zentra to see you spin - possibly this saturday - and you better get your friend to come out too! ;)
uwm and d&g girl - you know i love you guys, but we have to take a break from our marathon weekends - i'm getting way too old for this - two weekends in a row and i'm going to be totally useless at work today. |
