| ive never had a problem with trance being more mainstream. as been said it creates the room for people to make the scene worthwile to work in, tho there is a fine line between that and the scene being too milked for its own good |

every one of us wants trance to be popular, but no-one wants it to be commercialised.... kinda hypocritical...
we have a contradiction here, so you need to work out a solution to it, so we get the positives of both.
u need to keep it in the underground, away from the big labels, and keep it with people that will respect it, adn stop it from going too commercialy, if u know what i mean....

anyway, trance being mainstream may not be such a good thing. look at hiphop in america. for the most part it freakin blows now! rappers are making millions off of ridculously ty beats and half-assed lyrics. it sucks and its scary that people are so into it and the culture that worships (it seems) money.
if i control the fate of trance id let more of the independents release some songs... like us. a lot our fellow TAs songs are good and i wish i had them on vinyl. i dont think our scene or the contracts should ALL be reserved for the big namers.
...eh who knows. actually i dont think id want such an enormous responsibility. |

I just believe that if people like something, and wish portray a certain image that goes with it, they should be free to do so. If they don't want to, that's fine.
