I'd set fire to anyone who even thought "let's make a vocal trance record".
I'd force anyone who wanted to make trance to buy a real studio of hardware (not a laptop) to make sure they really had something worthwhile to contribute.
Anyone who said "trance is sooo unpopular in my country" would have their right to listen to it taken away from them. |

If the fate of trance was in my hands...
- I would stop Tiesto from doing TIC series.
- I would go back in time 3-4 years ago and witness all the great classics that were played during clubs in the period of time.
- I would make PvD and Tiesto friends and make them produce a few tracks together.
- I wouldnt let Tiesto receive the nr.1 DJ in the world three times in a row.
- I would make Ferry produce more tracks under the Gouryella alias.
Thats all i can think of now. |

i'd brainwash ferry corsten into leaving epic and remotely-electro-sounding crap and starting a whole new retro ambient/classic trance revival. but better. with deep and techy bits, and a more creative and innovative goal overall (it's so good to talk this out of my arse, like people don't ever try to be creative and innovative at all).
then we'd be able to say "epic trance is dead, ferry corsten killed it" :wtf:

Change the name of what people consider trance these days to something else entirely. Eurotech, or Megalift or something catchy but in no way associated with trance. That way all the jaded Trancers can get on with their underground while the Eutotekkers define some sort of fluffy niche for themselves in the mainstream.
Oh, and I'd make Armin, Tiesto, Ferry and PvD strip off naked infront of each other just to see who has the bigger penis before making them fight to the death to decide... WHO... IS.... KING!!! |
