EVOIII Vs STi (pg. 2)

Out of principal, i'd have an evo, out of which car is better, the subaru (then again, you havent said WHAT sti, they didnt just make STi tuned imprezas you know), and STi just means its been tuned by Subaru Technica International, not a model specifically.
The subaru will be quicker, but i am a mitsi man.
Depends on the age of the two though aswell.
Subaru's have character,they just blow up alot.
Give me more specifics,and I may have a better answer for you n00bs. |

as far as more preformance well if u get the evo fq400 u get a car that has 400 hp. but u have to service it every 4k miles and they say the clutch is preatty non fuctional even though it can handle all the hp
sti is the highest the subarus go and its not bad. i guess but nothing compared to the evo. |

NO,but seen as the original post was based on no video's then such material brought forth after does not give me any clue whatsoever as to what model STi's the thread starter meant when he asked his original question.

i was talking about the viii
i saw the 9 comparison vs the new subaru wrx and the 9 was faster. dont know if they will make other models such as the fq 340, 380 and 400
and yes i have seen the videos. top gear = the win.
best motoring = the win

they had and evo vs. one of these (in my sig)

| well reason is that im getting an STi in a week or so i did reviews and watched top gear but everyone said the EVO VIII is better somehow but they always ended up riding in the STi. Im 19 i do have the money to buy (not parents either i worked to earn it). It seems that i like the STi better for some apperent reason. I know the STi shows signs of understeer.But just wanted to get ur guys opinion on what would be better. I know the STi has 300HP vs EVO VIII has 271HP. THe cost on STi is more by 2k. Still i want the STi it just looks agressive and better IMO. |
