We are lucky to have Pure promoting Ive been to so many events for free, look at Soundbar last week it was free all night and they gave you a drink ticket, what more can you ask for? God only knows how much they are paying Tiesto Jr...er I mean Armin

presales for PVD @ Vision are $36 right now and they'll probably go up in price as it gets closer to the date.

i think tickets for armin started at $30 and then once a block of those tickets are sold, the price jumped to $35 etc.

means that the show is probably close to selling out

i guarantee that pvd tickets will be at least $40 closer to the event

the promoters are trying to get ppl to buy early
Gedas
$41.00 presale
$4.25 NON-REFUNDABLE processing fee

$44.25 to see Armin, now thats getting a little expensive I think.

Ok, this conversation has gotten very interesting.

I definitely understand that people are miffed about paying $$$ to see AvB and PvD, etc. When DJs get to these ranks, then they can charge more, and they should, it just makes economic sense. I'm sure we would all do this. It is nice that we have good promoters who can pull these guys in for those who love these DJs. Yes, it sucks--but it will still be packed to the brim.

For me, it comes down to the music. Despite the fact that AvB is getting more and more expensive to see (and some think he is a comercial sell out, blah, blah, blah), I think he is absolutely worth the $35. I listen to his ASOT almost every week and really dig what he spins. Whenever I see him, I have an AMAZING time--never regretting that I went. I guarantee you I will have the same attitude this Saturday--he will deliver.

I mean, hell, I spend a ton of cash to go to Miami every year for the WMC and I drop a wad on drinks at the club, so going to see a cheaper DJ whose music I don't know or like as well doesn't make much difference in the grand scheme of things. If I did like the cheaper DJ better, then bonus. I bet Andrew K or Ben Lost would come to Chicago for a reasonable price:). I love it, so that's why I do it.

Just my 2 cents. Hope to see a lot of you all there.

BTW.....

Lucid (Myra), I dig the new avatar! Jaytech - Music 101 (Flash Brothers remix) is one of my favs!

I really think you and Rob should come to AvB:)

So our opinions are somehow less valid than yours and amount to nothing more than 'blah, blah, blah'? If you need substantiation of these claims I'd be more than willing to provide examples of these sellout accusations.

At the end of the night, as long as your $35 for Armin is worth more to you than $0 for Lee Burridge then that's all that matters. :)

I really just didn't want to go searching for your afore mentioned statements. And yes, I'll spend the $35 to see AvB and skip Lee. Look forward to your review though.
