they don't have to be literally sad; with sad lyrics or whatnot. almost all of the songs that have been mentioned use 'sad' chords. you do know what 'sad' chords are, right? you should since you know so much about "smooth synths" and "ty drums" from your criticism of Viola. :rolleyes:
if you don't, 'sad' chords are simply keys and chords that have a more sad or melancholic sound, as oppossed to 'happy' chords. it's a well known fact to musicians that certain chords have these emotional effects. |
