OMG! this is HUGE. not only michelle is not gonna vote for the greatest dj of all the time but she also changed her avatar. this is like double jeopardy. since, she did not complain about tiny wienies rubbing to her, and some of our losers could not submit to the distinguished dj (i for long suspected one of us was the culprit, otherwise why on earth she would bring it here so often) i thought for a second her dreams came true :disbelief you have the picture to prove it. but, it is too good to be true

then, TIC LA could not be the best show in the history of the world as noble promoters preached. i am very disappointed :wtf:

something positive. the guy looks even dummer from side profile. i do not need to see his disgusting face any longer.

The best part of the night, GREATEST part of the night, Most AMAZING part of the night:

Was when Starkid - Crayons (orginal) was played for the 8 mins or so :) man i was happy as hell :D

Ok, it's 1:40am on monday, i haven't really slept since thrusday, got a little nap today before my flight back to tucson... but this how bad i looked, (i didn't know i looked that bad though), As i return the rental car at the airport the attendent looks at me and just stares at me for a sec then says, "You look like you just been shot! Sorry i normally don't say this but you look terrible!"

sleep i don't need no stinkin' sleep! :D Well maybe i do, i can't concentrate on crap but i don't "feel" tired. I'll post my pics up later. Now if i can find that can of red bull...

The show or concert as a whole was very good.

The crowd was good for the size of the event. Sure you had people cutting in front of others in the line but that happens everywhere. Some mind, others don't. That's just how it is here and in China. But once everybody was inside and the show got started the crowd went crazy. Actually most of the crowd was going crazy when the music they had playing stopped to signal the start of the set. There was a tune I really liked that was played at about 8:15 or before that. Very good sounds, didn’t sound familiar though. Anyway, crowd chants "Tiesto" and the intro starts, nice visuals. Crowd goes crazier. The voice which introduces the DJ is played and so does the first track, Magikal Circus. And because I was part of this crowd I too started going crazy. Music does that to me. From then on I danced although I had twisted my right ankle which hurts even more today. It was actually bothering me the first few tracks but soon I forgot about the pain and kept jumping. Jumping ‘til the end.

The set itself was good. Stopping, as others in this thread have already pointed out, ruined the flow, plus my body could’ve cooled down and the ankle pain could’ve returned. I was expecting a non-stop set. The tracklist was okay. Good tunes here and there like La Noche and Lately among many others. The Tiesto tunes were expected, nothing surprising there. I was happy to hear Suburban Train with vocals by the Children of the Orpheus Choir; very good song. And the vocals just make it much better. Yes, I'm a sucker for vocals.

Angelia Taylor, singer of Just Be, did a somewhat decent job with the vocals. I'm sorry but Kirsty Hawkshaw is the only singer that can do the job as she is the original singer of this tune. Jes Brieden, on the other hand, performed beautifully. Her voice stayed solid all throughout her performance. You have to keep in mind she kept moving from side to side running up and down the steps.

The performers surrounding Tiesto were spectacular. Great job by them!

What I don’t understand, and haven’t understand about TiC’s in general, is why he has to stop the music to start a new country or continent. It doesn’t make sense to me, and plus the flow is put on pause nearly killing it. Wouldn’t it be better for all countries/continents to be united in one set, non-stop, to show the unison of the world? Wouldn’t it be symbolical or is it just me trying to find some meaning here? Don’t stop the tune! Mix and combine the different sounds from the different parts of the world. That’s what music is about, uniting people with different nationalities together. Uniting the different sounds from all over the globe.

I’m happy and thankful that Tiesto and his team brought a little taste of the Tiesto in Concert experience. My brother and I enjoyed the concert and went home all sweaty but with smiles in our faces, which happens to be the most important thing at the end of the day. It’s all about having fun enjoying the music.

Note: Don’t mind the errors. :)

Holy crap sorry brotha anjunafreak but I didnt see this thread, gonna delete mine and just copy paste :p

Wow, i am shocked...not what i expected,

Thanks to Kfrogger and Julia for making this all possible, TA of the year vote goes to him!!!! :D

This was like a last minute thing, but ended up carpooling two of my friends who already were going. Once at the sports arena, the line was immense..at that time i was already getting monster massive flashbacks. I think Go Ventures did a better job with the line and checking in at least at the last monster massive (given I think it was their 7th year doing it) but once we got in it was smooth sailing from there. Tiesto shirt lines at first seemed as long as the line to get in, but once more booths opened up, everyone had their tiesto shirt on (except julia ;) ) hehehe. So we walk up to the front and who do we see? Tigo busting up with some crazy dance!!! I tried recording it with my camera, I will try and upload it later. Right after I ran into people that I haven't seen since middle school! Woah, suddenly everyone likes tiesto  . Well then we see the TA's in the middle directly in front of the booth and I end up there. Great to see Michelle, Jon, Curly, Carrie, Woody, and the rest of the TAs! So about 30 mins of some slow grooves and the lights go off...everyone chanting! And the massive smile comes on! Tiesto in full force, yet to my surprise his BPM is like 132-135?! :conf: Woah proggy tiesto! Straight of the bat I would say i didnt know a good 70% of what he played that night, alot of groovy tunes though none the less. But the tracks that I did recognize were either his productions or stuff he has been raping lately. I am going to list what I liked and didnt like about this event.

Pros:
- BEST SOUND I HAVE EVER HEARD...Clean Crisp Deep, I heard everything!
- Nice amount of AC commming from the top...so the sweater stayed on ;)
- Amazing to see so many different nationalities, it is like the world unites under edm.
- Strobelights were perfect, not blinding, yet very powerful.
- Free t-shirts :P
- Tiesto's attitude with the crowd he seemed happy and enjoying the vibe
- Very diverse tracklist, a total shock to me.
- Seeing alot of familiar faces :)
- NO MC TIESTO THANK GOD!!!!!

Cons:
- why 4 cdjs 1000s mk2? Makes no sense unless he was sequencing something... :conf: Could have just used 2 and would have been the same output.
- Djm 600, must have been brand new because the sound was great, but eh he needs to work on his effect timing.
- Mixing itself was not too bad, some were done really bad BUT, it is at the same level as markus and armin. :)
- Everytime they paused it for some performance, wasnt feeling it too much, its like charging a battery only half way, then using it...
- Ehhh, the vocalists were alright but, I would say its a repeat of what we saw in the last two years.
- Tiesto's exit seemed way too blunt...but maybe he had to take a dump :P and it ended somewhat too early
- Drunk girls who would be on the floor if nobody else was around them, and pushing everyone :(
- Everytime a firework or flameblast would come on, the temperature would rise instantly like 5 farenheit!

All in all a great show, in my mind I do not feel it was worth 80 dollars, I need to discuss this with kfrogger. But good vibe, good music, good amount of people. I really REALLY loved when he dropped the Children of Orpheous Choir remix of Suburban train, I would have to say that is one of my favorite tracks if not my favorite at the moment. Thanks again everyone for this great night! Really hope to see you guys in Vegas for NYE! I'm sorry to hear about the afterhours, but theres always next time :)

PS: I REALLY want to see Clovis's review :p and IT WAS ME WHO STARTED THE TIESTO CHANT DURING LOVE COMES AGAIN :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
