What a bummer, is Patterson the last night? (this saturday) I hope a new venue is found soon and the same BOA sound can be found in a new venue. The sweet sweet Dynacord.

| Wow. well the memories of this musical palace will remain 4ever. Boa will forever be in a league of their own in T.O. Hopefully the new digs will be at least half as good and Boa will still rule. |

Unfortunately I must bid farewell to my nightclub "home away from home" (that is until the next Boa opens...).
From my very first night @ Boa (Sander K in 2003) to my very last (L.E.S. in 2005) - Boa has brought the club and music experience to a new level in Toronto.
Boa's talent roster, sound system, staff and organization has always been phenomenal. A BIG "thank you" to all involved for providing so many fantastic experiences.
I guess this means no more uberhaus in Toronto (until the new Boa opens)... :(
I look forward to the new venue and upcoming plans for the future. Please don't let the move take too long - I want my DDTT! |

Very sad.....BOA goes down - this stinks! At least with such a good following, I'm sure they'll find another venue to re-launch.
At least the "stairs of death" will be gone....lol. |

BUT...Boa is just a place...what's important is that the people behind Boa are still in business and will relocate.

Oh man, I'm really sad to hear this. Especially with all the effort that went into the booth, then moving the booth, fixing up the patio etc..... seems like the place was just nearing perfection and then this happens.
I've been to Boa more often that any other club in the last year - the place, space, sound and staff just always guaranteed a good night out. Here's hoping that they find their new location quickly!
And yes, I'll be there to send the place off in style with Tedd Patterson this Saturday. |
