C'est dommage. This sucks.
Though I wasn't a Boa whore, I did enjoy partying there! Had several really great nights there listening to some wicked ass dirty house!
This is unfortunate, but all hope is not lost since yall are only relocating, NOT shutting down (thank the universe!).
I hope to party again and set footsteps within (new) Boa's walls.
Here's to hoping it don't take to long!
Farewell (old) Boa and I wish you much success on creating and bringing back (new) Boa.

My first party at Boa was ing Satoshi Tomiie... oh the memories. How sad! :sadgreen:

me too. but in November of 2003 then again Jan 2004.. and he only ever came to that club.. I am sad about that!! :( |

Yeah it is so sad what has happened. Great memories @ Boa that I will never be forget. Best music ever danced to. Good times!!

Sad news indeed.
This place has been my home on Sunday mornings for almost two years now. From the magical night of Sean Miller's first set followed by Sander Kleinenberg closing the night off with an unforgettable set, kissing the speakers after getting a taste of that room. The unbelievable experience of the Danny T pre party, with the Canada Day marathon that launched my promoting career with Boa. Then quite possibly the most well executed party i have ever been involved with, the NYE party that lasted a whole weekend straight, jam packed with the highest calibre of house music one could ever wish for.
As much as i hate to think this is the final night we will experience in this special place, i look forward to what Rony has in store for the future. I thank you Rony for always treating me with complete respect and loyalty, and letting me put my ideas into action. I had the best b-day ever this year, and i have you to thank.
See you guys on Saturday :)
p.s. - Sean..... i'm leaving it up to you to make sure that 'Swells' will be the track to close down the night, and the club. It has been the Boa anthem IMO since the very beginning! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! |
