Getting invited to the wedding of a girl you used to bone.

So today I get an invitation to a girl I used to bang. Well only for a couple weeks like 5 years ago. Since then ive partied with her & her fiance & its all cool. She even has been drunk & very flirty with me in front of him & he's been cool with it. I guess he knows too about are past according to her. But i just feel weird about going since im gonna congrats them & think the groom wants to knock my block off. Kinda like in the movie Just Married. So what would you do?
BTW the reason im invited is that the bride is one of my best friends sisters. |

i think the decision to go boils down to one crucial question:
open or cash bar? :p

yeah... weddings are expensive to go to (the gift and all that ) so if it all inconvienent or not looking like it will be fun, dont go.
of course, i am generally think that most weddings suck, so i might be biased. |

Shes best friends with my sister in law, so my P's & bro's inlaws are gonna be there. And yes the bridesmaids are ugly.
Im not too big of a wedding guy, but my friend will be pissed if I dont show up, so i dont know. |

if you feel your friend would be pissed i would at least go. just try and find something on the gift registry that isn't much (seeing how your not really that close to the couple) or if you don't feel right about going i would contact your friend personally and explain that you won't be able to make it.
