I just got back from the most incredible set I've ever heard.
I should've known what I was in for.
I can't believe they let phsycos into the country like that. He might as well be throwing grenades into the crowd. |

Wow you guys did own the front haha. Our group came in after the Live to air at Steam and what a pounding club. I've been to viva before but that was insane.
There were six of us at about 330, so Winfred had to let us all in. After he got us some drinks I went to say hi to Matt and his wife. (Super hot and friendly)
The TA's were all in the front dancing, shouting, screaming and putting their hands in the air. Matt was super happy with the turnout and the respect he got. Big thanks to all you guys/girls.
I'm very happy that 246 got the chance to be a part of Matt comming to Canada for the first time.
I missed the opening acts but i'm sure they were just as good. I was loving the set Matt tosed on and danced for at least 2 hours, sober as a board. :)
A big shout out to the friendly people in the bulding what a great VIBE. |

It was an interesting night from start to finish. Got ready to go at about 11, picked up Robben and then got a call on my cell. Ampz says "do you happen to have a Mac power supply...filo and peri's crapped out". Hmmm...the success of Filo and Peri tonight would lie in my hands:rolleyes: :D [not so much mine as dannie's cuz she's the one with the macs :p]
So we picked up tamiko and headed over to viva. Got in to the sounds of chiclet and key. I didnt really like their sound too much tonight. Seemed like a bunch of old tracks.
That and I managed to forget my ID in the car. Luckily, it was Celica to the rescue and he grabbed my id from my car and FedExed to me inside, [while proceeding to insult my hair lol!].
Met the usual TA suspects at the bar, and had a buncha laughs. Filo and Peri then came on and i "meandered" onto the dancefloor. Good pounding tunes [W00t! MarcoV-Godd (some crazy remix)], but it got a little to techy for me. I had to work in about 6 hours so I was thinking about heading out...then dannie remembered...the power supply: We were not leaving before F&P!:happy2:
I'm fairly glad that we didn't take off, because as soon as we got back on the floor, things started to lighten up and be more of the sound i was expecting. [airscape - sosei:crazy:!] Matt Darey them came on and ripped us up trancey style. Too bad I had to work otherwise I'd still be there now :p
Whats that tune with the vocals somthing like "dance through the desert"?

Oh my goodness...
What a night!
Arrived straight from workie at about 12:45 and had no problem finding TAs. Twas my first time at Viva and I was instatly impressed by the lighting and sound. Fabulous!
After chillin out by the bar and having my token 2 beers and saying 'Wazzzzap' to everyone I hit the dace floor.
Hard.
Very hard.
I gave the mutha-ah a beating it will not soon forget.
I very much enjoyed Filo & Peri. Great tracks and energy.
But we all know Matt Darey DESTROYED that place! What a high energy set! Even in my totally exausted state I kept movin. And talk about getting into it with the crowd! Yelling at us when the music was building up. And what music it was. I wish I could do it all over again.
But alas, fatigue got the better of me around 5 and I made my exit.
It was great to see all you guys, and I'm not gonna do shout outs cause you know who you are.
Props to Dan for SOMEHOW cutting up his hand while playin with glow sticks :haha:
Boo to the 401 being closed and it taking me an hour to get home. :whip:
Also boo to the Asians who got in a fight. Dumb-asses.
