Thats one word that comes close to describing friday night at Viva.

Fantastic to meet all of TAs as usual. You guys make dancing and shouting and screaming and going nuts so much fun :D
Chiclet & Key you 2 were dropping some awesome tunes right from the start.I was telling everyone while hearing you guys that it was going to be a awesome night and that it certainly was.
Filo & Peri, it was wicked to meet with you guys and stuff.Thnx for the autographs. And thankyou very much for a excellent set. You guys for sure set a very good base for Matt.
Matt Darey, WOW ... Antimatter - Absolute Zero WOW .... Lost Tribe - Gamemaster WOW .... Jon Con - Swing 2 Harmony WOW ... Headstrong - Close Your Eyes WOW .... Marcel Woods - Cherry Blossom WOW .... and for Nada's sake Tiesto - Adagio WOW lolz. Thankyou very much for one the most memorable nights of my life. Also thnx for signing my record.
My most fantastic moment of the night was hearing Gamemaster and Absolute Zero. These 2 tracks have so much Energy packed into them.Thnx again To all the TAs the Djs and everyone who had a hand in making this night happen. |

i just wanted to let everyone know that i had an excellent time at this party. i know that most of the time it seems like i don't listen to trance but i am an actual tranceaddict and last night was a great night for me.
thanks to all the DJs for playing some classics along with new tunes.
Dom and Bo, you guys were hilarious outside. Thanks for taking the time to chat.
i can't wait for laura's drunken photos. |

| Yeah, he dropped Gamemaster just befor 5 right after Liberation, and right before Cafe del Mar (lol, these 3 songs ripped me to shreds). Anyone know what the song 2 songs after Cafe del Mar was? |

Decided to attend this party at the last moment...and I'm glad I did, as this turned out to be an amazing night.
Got there in and around 11pm along with TranceGrooves, and ended up waiting outside 'till about 11:30ish with Aaron, CanadaBoyTrance, Laura, Jay, Rob + gf. I wish they'd actually let ppl in on time for a change.
The tunes were great from start to finish. Aside from Tygon, I hadn't heard any of the other DJs spin before. I was quite impressed with how well the music flowed from DJ to DJ.
Ended up on the dancefloor for most of the night, with a few occasional visits to the smoking patio to chat. I probably ended up talking somebody's ear off LOL (loca, loconet, tordan :clown: ). Stayed 'till the very end, I think loconet and I were the last patrons to leave the club after talking to Tim.
It was great seeing everybody out and having a good time. I'll see you all this weekend :) |

Definitely one of the best parties I've been to. The music and good company was superb. Reminds me of the early Viva days when TAs used to kill the place. Every single DJ that night did a superb job! Props to Chiclet for dropping some trancy tunes to get the party started, great job :D
Highlights of the night for me ...
.. chilling in the smoking area when all of the sudden I hear the start of Flash Brothers - Amen .. had to quickly make my way through the crowd back to the front to listen to this awesome track. Haven't heard it live since last year's Sensation White.
.. again smoking area, hearing Trance guru DJ. Ampz giving us all a history lesson on Trance with the story behind Robert Miles - Chldren.
.. being part of the explosion when everyone realized Matt Darey was mixing-in Lost Tribe - Gamemaster. I remember I was close by to Mr. Cale when I start to look around me and everyone has their mouths open looking completely in shock. We were not sure if what we were hearing was true... but it was! everyone went ape. No jokes, Cale's face ==> :eyes: . Matt Darey lowers the volume to see if we recognize it .. signals us to yell back.. "GAMEMASTER!" .. he acknowledges with a big smile and drops it.. three quarters of the crowd are now having heart attacks.
.. Darey then follows with Energy 52 - Cafe del Mar, Tiesto's remake of Adagio for Strings, BT - Love comes again and Robert Gitelmen - Children of the Sun shortly after. Those tracks played in such a short time span should be illegal!
.. getting to meet/talk/take pics with Mr. Darey and learning what a really nice dude he is.
Shout outs to all the usual and new faces. As always, a pleasure to party with all of you!

Finally i have recovered enough to be able to post a review...
What a night! After an almost 5 month-long hiatus from clubs, i decided to make a return for Matt Darey. To say that was my best night at Viva would be an understatement!
Before i start rambling on about who i met and what i did etc, i would first and foremost like to give an absolutely massive shout-out and thanks to Jayx1 for really helping me out and manning the lights like a God! lol Jay, you saved my night, thank you so much!
Right, back to the night itself. Got in and Key and Chiclet were throwing down some very nice old school tunes (as well as some newer ones) which got me in the mood straight away! Thanks to both of you for such a great set!
Went outside to chill out for a while (the weather was amazing), met Karim, MaxTo, TranceGrooves, RJ, and others whose names escape me right now (sorry guys :().
After a while out there chatting to Max (i think we both talked each other's ears off), i was talking with Ben about who we thought was Filo and who we thought was Perry (short one, tall one, it was all very confusing) when a girl next to us says "Hey, this is Filo!" I immediately took it upon myself to request a picture lol :D
Went back inside the club some time later to hear "Amen" being played!! Memories of Sensation White just came flooding back, and seeing the DJs singing along with it was crazy. Filo decided to wear my glasses for a little bit (hilarious) and, after recuperating them i listened to the rest of the set. Loved the tracklist (a little harder than what i was expecting but i can't fault them for that). I think i missed the opening of Matt Darey's set but i'm not 100% sure lol Saw Nada, Dan and Spam at the front of the booth dancing up a storm! You guys are like energizer bunnies :eek:
Highlight of my night: Cale and i looking at each other incredulously as we hear the opening notes of GameMaster!!! OMFG! If i hadn't been so happy i would have probably cried. My first time hearing it in a club and wow!
Other honorable mentions: hearing Love Comes Again, Cafe del Mar, and Adagio for Strings! In-sane!
Got to talk to Matt Darey afterwards, what a nice guy he is! Took some pictures and headed back outside where i spent most of the rest of the night.
Shouts to all the people i met/saw: dancing*queen, rj, karim, ecstasy shirt guy (forget your name but remember your t-shirt lol), cono_sur, flec, stereoprincess, cale, viek, smuncky, maxtuh, trancegrooves (probably more people but i seriously can't remember anyone else).
Special shout outs to: Chiclet and her awesome girlfriend Shanon: I hope you guys have an awesome time in Mexico (god knows i'd love to be there), loconet and tordan - parties would not be the same without you guys :), and MaxTO for taking my constant chatting lol.
