| Owen has been sold to Newcastle :( :( :( i really liked owen but he deserves a lot of playing time that he wasnt going to get at Real... but I read in like 3 football websites that Real recieved 28 million euros for him when they only paid 12 million last summer to liverpool... thats a great deal and now maybe with that money they will buy Sergio Ramos :eek: :eyes: |

| Good for him though, no team should keep a player like that on the bench! Just a shame he wasnt able to go to Liverpool, I believe he wanted to return there but Real allready had a deal with Newcastle... |

yea i read dat 2day, he wants to come, hes dropped another hint, so by 2morrow i think he will be a real madrid player, and all u haters watch wat he do this season,

Not only did they have a deal, but the important part was that Newcastle were willing to 16-17 million pounds, which Liverpool definitely did not want to do after selling him for 8 at the beginning of last year. Too bad for them the Simao deal broke down too, that woulda been key for their winger problems. Oh well...should still be an exciting season all around. |
