Sean to bad I missed that set I would have been on the sideline with Carey... you made me appriciate House music like never before and wow it was amazing to here you play and to always have a smile on your face. I grew to see what a talented dj you have become and to appriciate your sound changes to compliment who you my have opened for from when you played your marathon sets.
I remeber the first track I every heard to play" In Stereo " to the amazing set with " I love the bass" at the anniversary party..
man you blew me away.. Iam sure i will here you again.. keep up the great work.. to bad I was not able to hear you close Boa live. |

Rony is not victim he had a perfect situation and he s%#&^@& it up.
Boa was the best club in TO dispite Rony'S efforts , he has screwed everyone he has worked with and will do the same at the new club. |

Signing up on TA just to start is not a good plan. We do actually know most of the back story except we are not rude untactful people like yourself. Have you ever heard of keeping your mouth shut in certain situations?
When was the last time you opened a club as good as Boa? Actually when was the last time you wrote something that people could actually understand? |

I re-read this entire thread to see whatyou could be on about, but it mostly seems to be people expressing disappointment about the closing and appreciation for a great last night. |

I thought this Forum was for discussion.. and what makes me sick is that people say " to bad the club is closing " or " looking forward to a new venue to be better" perhaps my comments should have been posted on the " boa closing forum " but this is the most current. and
SP people should know the truth and where better to here the truth then a forum like this. Maybe if you where one of the people getting S@!#$$^!d you would have a different tone. |

Well I think the main point is that most of the people posting are not management, and were not involved in running the club, just as you stated, nobody here is 'getting S@!#$$^!d'.
These people are clubbers and music lovers who are sad to see their favorite club close. They do not want to dwell on the politics or rumours(because they dont have a vested interest). They would like to remember the happy times and great DJs.
BTW - it IS too bad the club is closing and I'm sure people are looking forward to a new venue with the same vibe. |

It is a forum for discussion, I'm just saying I don't see where anyone has been making Rony out to look like a victim.

my comments are coming from all the discussions about the club closing and from Boa's own response about fighting with the landlord etc. I am a landlord too and as long as the tenants pay everything else can be worked out.
He blames the Landlord and this is simply not true. I loved the club too I was there almost every weekend and It was the best, the point is that it could have continued and all the people who contributed to make this club finacial succes as well should have see some reward too. In my book you don't s%#!^ your friends. |

The pure fact of that matter is, anytime you have people involved in the process, promisses are going to be broken, and hearts trampled. I just hope that the people involved(behind the scenes) were able to walk away with some valuable lesson, and valuable friends. As for the people involved on the dance floor, they did their part.
You should definitely not be harping on the people on this board. They helped to make the place a success week after week, by spending their hard earned money in a place they really believed in. |

What an amazing night!!!! I loved the music, I loved the people, and I loved Boa:happy2: . It’s such an indignity that they are closed now. Please re-open ASAP. I would like to thank all the people behind Boa who made nights like these possible. I just started partying there more to what a shame.
It was awesome to experience Boa one last time with so many TA’s. I can’t get over how much you all rock; each one of you definitely brings something to the table.
Boa has blessed me with nothing but good times, I can’t wait to party there again.
