I KNOW I AM ONE OF THE PPL THAT CANT FIND A JOB,I HAVE A ING POPS THATS STEALS MONEY FOMR MY WALLET AND TELL ME IN THE MORNING THAT HE TOOK IT BECAUSE MY MOM DOES NOT HAVE MONEY FOR HER SELF OR MONEY TO GIVE MY POPS,MY MOM IS WORKING HER ASS OFF LIKE IT IS HER LAST DAY HERE SHE IS EARNING AND EARNING BUT PRICES GO HIGHER AND BLACK PPL`S PAYCHECK STAYS THE SAME U DONT SEE US WITH A RAISE U JUST SEE US ING NECK DEEP IN BILLS AND ,IF SOCIETY GAVE US A CHANCE IN THE BEGINNING WOULD HAVE NVR HAPPEND OF CRS U WOULD HAVE POOR PPL BUT IT WONT BE FOCUSED ON BLACK PPL ALL THE TIME.

sorry abut ur situation spek. i saw first hand ur kinda lifestyle, when i used to visit my best friend's house when i was in the states. He lives in a really rundown area of Buffalo, Ny. Ironically he was the nicest person i met in the U.S. despite coming from the worst home.

Regardless of the situation Looting is Looting. Now I'm not condemming it in this situation but there's not going around the fact of what it is aka theft.
The reason why there was a lot of hustle between the locals and law enforcement and such is that the evacuation was so poorly organized.
Because of lenghty waiting times some locals wanted to try and force the helicopters to take them out of there first.... didn't exactly work out the way they wanted.
Also serious lacks of medication outside of the hospital for those sleeping on the streets so it appeared locals were going in to take whatever they could need. But the thing with the medication seems a little tricky. |

I also noticed there was no mention that it was a black kid. If they would have come right out and said a black male was looting then there would be an issue....that is not the case....the whole thing is stupid. |

seriously though, why would you loot jewelry? or anything besides basic survival stuff? if you can't even leave the area, how the are you gonna make money off something like TVs, appliances or jewelry??? i wonder what these looters/finders/whatever are doing with the stuff they stole..
also, it's really sad that the national guard and other nearby hospitals were directed to put the abandoned hospital equipment in a safe place bc the looters were even taking the equipment/machines, for no reason.. it's just mass chaos, people don't even know wtf they're doing.. |
